If you click towards the inside of the wall the Temp Dimensions will be on the inside. If you click towards the outside of the wall the Temp dimensions will be on the outside. Jon

Alan, First select the dimension string. Then with the "End to End" dimension tool. Dimension over the segment you want to remove. Jon

If you draw a manual dimension on top of the section you want to eliminate it will break the string into two sections. Jon

Perry, I have an Alienware Area-51 computer running windows 8.1 that started to cause CA to crash a couple of weeks ago. This happened when I was doing a "Save-As". Tech Support traced the problem to Dells Backup and Recovery software " Alien Respawn. I deleted this software and things have been fine ever since. Depending on the Dell model computer you are using the name may be different for the same program. If your not using Dells Backup and Recovery, try deleting the program. What do you have to loose. As Jared said. There is a box near the top of the page that say's "View on Google Earth". The topo lines are not on Google Earth. They are imported as a layer on top of Google Earth.
