I've been using Legal Billing from Choassoftware.com. It's stand alone but Windows only (it can sync with Android and iOS but I haven't tried that) $50 includes two years of upgrades but never expire. I already use Intellect as a PIM/email along with their hosting service, they interface with each other and sync between computers (I do sync the PIM with my phone) Effective, simple, I easily changed a few of the fields to suit what I need since I'm not a lawyer (after checking with tech on the how ).

Copy label, paste, change the layer, open room DBX and uncheck show room label. Label for that room is now on a new layer you can control
-
Set camera to clip to side, then you can put breaks in the clipping plane and move it so show what you need but not what you don't. Might work-was new feature in X9

It's an either or kind of thing. Either use a custom backsplash without having a backsplash as part of the cabinet. OR use a polyline solid for the entire length and make it 1/16" thicker than the backsplash if you don't want to turn off the backsplash in the cabinet DBX. Personally I never use backsplash as part of the cabinets, wall or base, and I never use the cabinet dbx for moldings-but I'm a weenie.

Got it, will keep in mind, thanks.

Joe, were you inserting this in the outside of the building? or what was going on- I'm confused since I've had no issue using these as interior symbol, even inserted into and exterior wall (though it was extra depth wall)
-
Here's an assortment of cabinet and parts I did a while back. Maybe instructive. X Channel Asst.plan
-
Place in blank plan adjust face, shelves etc. 3D perspective, convert to symbol, select type (interior fixture), check advanced options. Name it, adjust origin, options, materials and stretch planes zones as needed. In this case I made it 3-3/4" deep and set the stretch plane to something larger like 10. That prevents the depth from changing.

Here's Eric's solution using a cabinet turned into interior fixture, inserts into wall. EZ but X10 only.

Not touchy, just some of us have found that as the library gets bigger it gets slower if you actually need to use it. I believe it has more to do with surface count than it does with total storage. Only 6Gb? keep working on it The 58 mfg catalogs shown here are a tad over 12 GB including libraries, data and referenced files. Get Wayfair, all Millwork, and all Fixtures/Appliances and see how search works (I only have a few Millwork and Fixture/Appliance. I deleted Wayfair immediately)

You're talking about downloading, not updating. Maybe try a download manager- some of them "might" solve your problem (with scripts-weren't you a programmer once?) Not something I'm interested in as my libraries are already 13GB but good luck to you. Nowadays I often only copy a few things from a Bonus or MFG library to my user, then delete the other library.

I think Chopsaw meant to combine two pdfs in a layered PDF and not add the notes in PDF, and Michael's solution sounds good. In any case I'd take a look at actually adding the notes in Foxit. I'm guessing that at this point Phantom has capabilities like what I use (I switched from Foxit to Bluebeam in 2010 so not sure what they have added). IF so then I'd : add new markups (callouts, notes, etc) to a layer in color; then flatten. When new notes are needed then: unflatten, select the original notes (by layer, type, date, in sidebar, lasso; whatever is easiest...), change color. Add new notes/revision clouds/etc with defaults set to red, flatten. BB will also track all notations by user and date, maybe Foxit does too.

Really? Just the other day it updated a mfg catalog that was brought in during migration I never downloaded a new version.

SOLVED - X10 Crash: Elevations on Multiple Monitors

No problem here- 17 laptop, dell 24 on display port (set as primary), Asus 17 on USB (displaylink) contrary to popular opinion I never update nVidia drivers unless my mfg offers one or it's something I see I need (almost always applies to games and not me) -
Walls/Railing Workshop Tuesday, April 24rth at 3:00 PM PST

An alternate for the block wall I came up with toward the end but my mike wasn't working or something. This is a bit easier to control and change. From left to right sequence - fence-panels, no post, 0 newel width, steps to terrain- change wall type to CMU -include bottom rail, select some square molding and set height to desired bottom wall height change texture to block rotate texture 5 adjust newel spacing Block doesn't like follow terrain using this though -
Centexbs bought the license I had for sale and got a copy of the X8 viewer. On his way but it sounded like a long trip, CA, ACAD, CNC to retrieve.
-
Some info and a few symbols for doing it here I did not include complete instructions, just examples. Open cabinet and symbol DBXs , look up stretch plans and zones in reference manual to get a complete understanding. It took me since X4 till now to figure this out. Easy now.

Sounds like something that could be done with a macro recorder, windows scripting tool, or Directory Opus script, or some such?
-
Assuming your windows are mulled together? after making cad block, select entire window, then tab to a single window-load muntins icon available on status bar
-
As mentioned earlier, open in x8 client viewer, save, then open in x10. If you're looking in the license I have for sale I'll check with Chief in the morning to make sure I can also give him the viewer which I have.
-
Dermot, I am selling a secondary X10 license, been contacted by the OP. I have a copy of the X8 viewer. Can I legitimately also include that with the sale and transfer?
-
The license is still for sale. You have to open files in an X8 viewer first and save, then you can open them in X10. I have an X8 viewer. I'll have to check with sales on Monday to find out if I can send you a copy now. Can't see why not since I'd be able to use it with a client if I had given them an old X8 file, but want to check first.

I'm selling my secondary and have the transfer paper ready to go. Fee is $900.
