  1. I thought PRO could export .DXF files ??? if not, you may be able to hire a chiefer to create the .DWG file for you someone may volunteer to do it for free ??? I would volunteer but its not my forte Lew
  2. Joey: it would be the builder that does the signing/stamping unless there is an architect or engineer involved in the project designer/drafters are not allowed to sign/submit the homeowner can sign/submit but may need architect/engineer also all depends on the jurisdiction Lew

HD titles can open/edit .plan files from the same version of Chief Premier but can edit only if the edit flag is set by Chief Chief can open/edit HD .plan files without issue HD PRO can't open Chief .layout files since HD PRO can only do 1 page layouts and is missing most of the .layout tools that Chief has Lew

  14. while Chief can do 30 floors if your project is really "commercial" then you may need to consider Revit (or similar) Suite is way too limited for your purpose HD PRO "might" work for awhile but I suspect you would need to upgrade to Chief Premier probably best to consult with CA's sales team and they can advise the best product for your needs Lew
