  1. First, unzip the file. Do not try to launch the *.plan while viewing within the *.zip. jon
  2. Looks like "Technical Illustration" to me. jon
  3. Check your casing depth, as that determines the lintel depth--especially if you're recessing the opening, jon
  4. Try here... http://www.swtexture.com/2013/04/slate-crazy-tiles.html jon
  5. I guess Belgard has discontinued this line, so use it as generic flagstone. Supplied with a bump map. jon

  7. The corrugated metal material is not "shiny"; it's an optical illusion. jon
  8. Check the Arcways bonus lib jon
  9. They look exactly the same on my machine jon
  10. Because I want to import reasonably accurate terrain data. I guess what I'm after is anybody who uses GPSBabel to do terrain data translations. http://www.gpsbabel.org/ jon
  11. They just imported a symbol. I'm trying to do terrain data via a GPS import. I guess I should go watch the video again incase I missed something. jon
  12. Thanks Mick. I struggled with the mystery light CA adds to every 'room'. My eventual solution was to add a light source set to "All Floors, black color, 100w illumination, no shadows (as I wanted interior lights to cast very visible shadows). Place that light in each outside "room" and turn off the sun. The above image is the result. jon
  13. The secret is an exterior black light source (or 2 or 3 or 4) and a zero exterior ambient light setting. And, a good, dark background. This is from the wayback machine. jon
  14. I've had this happen a few times and even reported to TS the first couple times. Tech Support instructed that I delete and re-install the effected libs as they were most likely corrupted. Nope, still happens, mostly from the Viking library and/or when I click rapidly in the lib. jon
  15. Layer blend in Photoshop
  16. My guess is that you're after what the Technical Illustration method offers vs. Vector using the same wall type. jon
  17. I thought the latest version of CA Mac X7 supports skp import? jon
  18. Has anybody had success using SketchUp Geo-location > Export as *.dae or *.kmz > GPSBabel conversion > import to CA as terrain? I keep coming up blank, so there's some obvious user error. Anybody? jon
  19. I've had limited success with FotoSketcher. But Jintu inspired me to give 3.0 a try. Here is CA out to PS, blurs and levels in PS out to FS, Vintage OOB in FS back out to PS, Multiply blend of FS over original PS edits. I kind of dig it. jon
  20. I'm with Ozgur on the fbx front for model/symbol import/export. Antoine, glad you sorted your 3ds issue. jon
