  1. I believe the article should state to work the lines in groups of four rather than "Grouping" lines; implying something altogether different. Poorly written article. jon
  2. Preferences>Appearance>Toolbars; select "Scale Toolbar Icons for High DPI" jon
  3. I would like to see this catalog updated ASAP to include product variations. Specifically, provide kitchen faucets without escutcheons. Otherwise, great library! jon
  4. Agreed, but the issue is finding the offending symbol(s). Needle-in-a-haystack situation. The warning message is utterly valueless towards a timely resolution. jon
  5. For the entire 9000+ symbols in my User Library "Furniture" subfolder? Fat chance. I'll do a manual export/install for the entire User Lib from X7, see if that works. jon
  6. Really? This is not only annoying, but totally worthless as a tool to resolve issues. How about a temp folder in the User Lib with links to the problem symbols. In my case, I'm looking at manually searching through thousands of symbols to get rid of this nag pop-up. jon
  7. User lib migration defaults all textures to the original source path instead of remediated path. Resolved by exporting lib subfolders from X7, but still. jon

  11. Rod, not sure what you're after, but here is a stair shot sans post production. 5 lights, six passes, 12 minutes in CAX7. jon
  12. Back to the topic... Nice work B.A.! Here's an interior shot modeled and RT in CAX7. Post using Topaz & Alien Skin filters in Photoshop CC 2015. jon
  13. Professionals understand their audience and manage expectations accordingly. jon
  14. Use line breaks and the "Remove molding from selected edge" command. jon
  15. You are correct. Nor is the curved treeline Chief; nor the flag, nor the... jon
  16. Thanks Dennis. That's CAX7 with a touch of post.
  17. Very subtle signage Yusuf. Here is a bit of reno work. jon.
  18. Search "Solar Tube" or download the "Energy Sources" bonus lib. jon

    Ray Trace

To expand on what Perry said; make your system specs part of your signature so folks trying to assist you can know what they're working with, post screen shots of you ray trace settings, and post your plan. jon
  20. I was missing something. Thanks Glenn. jon
  21. I doubt the SSA discount, as licenses are renewed throughout the year. But, a massive user discount on swag would be groovy! jon
