I bet you 20.00 you have a bunch of lights on. Not referring to user defined lights but actual LIGHTS turned on. Try turning all of your LIGHTS off and just use user defined light sourced.

I noticed a save not overiding previous file with same name. I reported to Brian, he said the new version will not overwrite the older version if the older version is not closed. He said he will incorporate code warning of this, I guess that is what Dan is referring to. Do no knowt if this is your issue but to restate, the original must be closed if you want newer to replace older.

No crashing with ray tracing. I get crashes when I want to UNDO something in layout. CA gets locked in a never ending READING FILE and I have to hard boot the Mac.... Did send in to tech support,

Michael, you are a much better man than I. When I read this question from a long time user...... A long time user who posted a relatively simple question without posting a plan............ Yep, I think you are correct, user error. Go ahead and give be a black mark, I deserve it. Thank you, thank you very much.

Come on guys, I have not mentioned my golf game (not going so good), my medifast diet (not going so good), or....... whatever in quite some time ....... I have been a good boy lately.

I do not want my cameras to display on all floors. Is there a default that will set it so the camera only shows on the floor it was generated on. Wall elevation cameras only show on floor it was generated on. Back clip cross section cameras show on all floors unless I open dvx and change to display on only one floor. (looking for a default) Any ideas

any ideas why it isn't?

My question would be how do you not get the molding to wrap around the side.

I get a monthly newsletter and there is always a link to the new catalog of the month.

This is so weird. I remember this from a long time ago. As I work I almost always turn a pline to a psolid, and I know I must do it on the second floor but I don't have this problem anymore. I know what Glenn is saying is true, it's just that this has not happened to me in years. Do you think I am special or is this another sign of my nuttiest? I'll check it out tomorrow.

And you don't have to have a floor structure to have a floor finish.

1. Don't know, did you call it a garage? 2. Probably but try this. Select enough interior walls so that when you change these to non room def., you can select the one remaining room, change to no longer floor supplied by room below, and then change walls back to room def. Dora? Maybe that is what I will watch with his sister. Can my life get any more miserable?

That was an excellent reason. The number of posts is definitely a gauge of another's knowledge.

Do you not have a floor finish or the plywood or the slab or the framing........ come on bud, you have got to learn that there are multiple possibilities and without a plan or at least a picture, it's only a guess. The only reason I am replying is because I am stuck watching Caillou with my grandson. My wife has recorded about 10 episodes for my grandson, of course that means there is no room on the VCR for my episodes of The Housewives Of Atlanta. What ever happened to a man's house is his castle. And you know what, as soon as he grows out of this show, he has a little sister that will further confound my viewing pleasures.

Try navigating this forum with an iPhone, not fun.

So I am doing some ray traces. Finished one, saved and closed. Before the next one has a chance to start, CA crashes. I go to reopen file, and you will see the message below. How do I access my file? Thank you.

Did you figure out how to pit the most recent post first in queue?
-
Yeah Kirk, hate to complain, but this format is not too user friendly, especially for those of us who are constantly checking in. Can you imagine going to the SHOW YOUR GOODIES THREAD and having to comb thru all 11000 posts to get to the end?
-
Perry, is that you? I almost didn't recognize you.
-
How do I get the latest posts at the top of this screen? Thx
-
Is there a way to get the most recent posts at the top of this window? Right now the most recent is at bottom and I must scroll down to see most recent.
