  1. I was actually able to find it with a quick search.
  2. Yes, last time I checked CA does not use SLI.
  3. Hmmmm, I assume the OOB setting is unchecked, if that is the case..... yeah..... now that you mention this, I have not noticed this frustration, thanks. If you ask me, it should always be unchecked, not sure why anybody would want this checked, I will monitor now that I know this.
  4. In this pic, the sill and stud blocking are same color, rafters are another, if I had trusses I believe they may be another color, I have different colors for new and exiting studs, ceiling joists are another color and floor joists are another, I think that is 7 different colors, I think I outlined it all in the video. I am showing existing studs in this pic, if I had new walls, they would be another color.
  5. Yeah, I'm listening, the video showed you how to do it. I saw someone else do this about 6 years ago, it's a great way to help understand the framing overview. I changed the materials in the BUILD FRAMING>MATERIALS DBX
  6. Thanks Doug, never messed with it before, OOB is 4, no complaints on the OOB, I just bumped it up to 6 to see if I like it better. Does any body know what the BUMPING/PUSHING FOR TYPE I MOVEMENT is about? I just noticed this, I believe this is new, anybody know?
  7. I thought it was only me, I too have problems at times posting comments..... starting to become a true waste of time.....
  8. Hi DG, yes, now I understand, sounds like a lot of work since i believe you will not only have a sink to deal with but also the hole for the sink. So if you wanted to move it, would would need not only the hole but the sink. However the method that I eventually came to grips with was not much better. Your method may be better..... but maybe not, won't you have one of the lower cabinets going through the sink.... you don't show the sink in place..... I think you will find that a cabinet will penetrate the sink......
  9. I think OLDCKD has the answer, I am waiting for her solution.
  10. Of course, that is the easy way, but suppose the center of the sinks are aligned with the space between the doors and the drawers, something I see all the time in as built conditions.
  11. I hear you, not sure if I like it better or not either. I think a lot of users liked the tab idea..... I will adapt to the majority.
  12. I am sure you are correct Mike, I don't mess with it because then the handles would be TOO BIG. I just zoom in, I suppose it could be made more user friendly.
  13. Actually I have no idea what I am talking about either, maybe you can show us how you would do what the OP wants, maybe post a simple plan so we can study it, thanks. I suppose I should of said double vanities in a triple face single cabinet...... we all know what the OP wants.... how would you do it?
  14. No you don't have to minimize, simply double click on title bar of plan you want to be full screen, but I am sure you know that..... I am sure I am missing what your true intention is....... bottom line, what ever you want to do, I do not have a need for it..... not yet anyway......
  15. What is the point of blocking? Can you put two vanities in three different cabinets? Have you tried it?
  16. Dog gone it Curt, I noticed the same thing, but I think it is the reflection and the angle of the camera when the picture was taken. My younger brothers have the receding hairline, I am sure it is a misconception on your part, please check the prescription for your glasses.
  17. I would use one 72" wide base cabinet with triple face 34" high, and then stack two 36" wide x 2" hi cabinets (each with sink) on top. That would give you a 36" hi cabinet. Never thought of that until now, but it should work. hmmmmm...... I wonder if the structure of the base cabinet would show through the sinks..... If that was so, I would probably make the triple face cabinet 4" deep (to allow for a 3" deep toe kick, line up face of top 36" wide cabs..... I bet I could do a 2. 5 hour video on this....... but I won't..... save you guys the agony.
  18. I have seen this recently, I am getting fed up with constantly having to muddle my way thru this crap..... to fix it I deleted the foundation wall and drew another in it's place by dragging an existing wall..... I have libraries disappearing, nonsense like this and there was something else this morning that popped up which was a reoccurence of a previous bug...... I forgot what is was but I am assuming it will pop up again.
  19. But if you insist on inviting Perry over to your palatial manse, I would ask him to use one of the other 13 bathrooms and i would swing the door the way you have it....... for that particular design.
  20. I would go to Perry's house instead of inviting him to my house. Besides, his wife is a true chef.
  21. Thanks Michael, I misunderstood. I thought Joey had the right answer, and he did.
  22. Now that is surprising. I thought Joey had the correct answer when he said do not do that. I must look at this in the AM, maybe I am missing something.
  23. I had it crash just today, I think it was running lie on memory. I must quit every 3 hours or so.
  24. If you want to control the text that is done via the layout box label layer.
  25. This is what I sent to tech support. On a mac, I work on secondary monitor, I put library browser on primary monitor. If I go to my browser (safari) and back to CA, the library browser is gone. Not isolated to plan I am working on. Tried new OOB plan, same thing, library disappeared. Only way to get it back is to shut down CA and reopen. I will try working on primary monitor and putting library on secondary monitor. Never noticed this until today with the new 6.2 update. and then I sent this in...... I am now working on main monitor. If I go to browser and back to ca, browser is there. Better than before. But, but........ If I put library browser on second monitor, go to safari and back to ca, the library browser now relocates back to main monitor and will not stay on secondary monitor. I must again reposition library browser back to secondary monitor.
