  1. Yes, they only confirm Payments in Person Mon-Fri. and then update accounts , so don't panic you aren't the only one this has happened too. * I am not sure why they don't Note this at payment or in the Confirmation Email , so people don't freak out..... M.

Standard View can hide a lot of minor Issues , mis-alignments etc , it's why these days I turn on Line Drawing in standard view while I work ( rather than work in Vector View like a few years ago. ) Have you tried Ballooning those walls? Chief maybe having a hard time generating automatic walls for example...... bit hard as it's only a guessing game without the Plan.... M.

Nothing Chief is sometimes a "little" too smart for it's own good and have been programmed to orientate certain things in a particular way as CS mentioned another example is Framing materials eg this Beam and the Studs are all Framing 1 , but the beam grain runs horizontally , so sometimes it is a battle , fighting chief's programming depending on the object. You could just use Solids perhaps if the Newels etc are not needed/to be shown. M.

Sounds reasonable that an End User would want to do this esp. if they don't work with BuilderTrend, but I think you'll need to make a Feature Request for Access to those Codes in Chief , for example through Preferences > Materials List > (new tab) Accounting Codes ( it's quite possible BT uses Industry Standard Acct. Codes? that CA assumes we all use ) M.

I have yes, with older plans like you, I think it's related to the Built in Help System, which I believe is QT based and Chief updated the base code (QT) in X13/X14 to a newer Version to allow Instant context driven updates. *CA would have to confirm my thoughts..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qt_(software) M.

  8. Personally I haven't found a way to do it via a template accurately every time , but admit I am no expert in Excel ...be nice if Chief Provided a Template for this. M.
  9. As far as I know Transfer of licenses of HD or Chief Products is no longer allowed except within the same Company/Family(?) A number of changes came into effect Nov. 29th 2022 , when Chief announced the new Subscription Service which starts Jan. 9th 2023. M.
  10. As above I use excel , I also have each Users Initials in their Time Tracker Preferences Set, so I can filter by that too if needed. M.

  12. What do you see in the Preferences > Render > Videocard Status Tab ? I think I have seen this reported before , so TS probably has a solution.... Mick.

I'd send it in to TS , personally I haven't seen this happen, but it appears the Clock didn't turn off from Dec.27th - Jan 6th? and those 240 hours seem to be there twice as well (blue highlight and your red arrow/line) I need this to be accurate as well , so hopefully this isn't widespread.... M.

  15. Jan.6th, 2023 Chief has confirmed ( Below, thx Ed. ) Drivers after 526.96 HAVE ISSUES currently.................... I am using 526.86 myself with no issues. If you use Geforce Experience (I don't) then don't let it update your Drivers this version automatically in the next few days. These links REMOVED..................   16. It typically is when you use an Image for the Backdrop , so I just set a pale blue color instead ...... M.
  17. Possible the direction the wall was drawn in? start/end settings can effect this , but as noted it is sometime a battle , and like you I sometimes just delete a wall and redraw it and things will work .....it also seems you may not be in X14 , so you may need to report this. M.

In PBR , the Light pics up color from whatever your Background is .....not great , but it it what it is , something with a lot of grass or trees will have a green cast to the light, if its an Autumn scene with red/orange leaves , then the light will have orange cast etc , the Blue is likely from the Sky in your case.   22. Yes , we were just trying to advise you to make the same changes in your template so you don't need to do it for EVERY camera in the future. for a Single Camera , you can use the Edit View Icon to quickly do that.............. M.
  23. The Adjusting of your Template will only effect New Plans and New Cameras ...it's for future work , but generally you would open your template Plan and then adjust the Plan Defaults for your Cameras..... ( I am not sure what you are showing above) and
  24. Chris is right and it why I mentioned above to also make the Changes in your Custom Template Plan....... There is the Option to import Defaults into Older Plans but that may mess somethings up - do it in a COPY of any Plan 1st to test, the downside is that any existing (saved) Cameras will not be updated to the new Defaults.
