Not sure I can be of much help.  I have seen similar posts in the past...and the guys have suggested using P-Solids and multiple-copy.

If you are doing floor tile...you can use a floor material region for the grout.  Make the region just slightly less in thickness than the floor tile.  Same process if you are doing wall tile...except use the wall material region for the grout.  Then used P-Solids for your tiles...and paint them with a material (picture) you get from the internet...or something from the library.

Let me know my suggestions help or not...

If they don't, then I will give this some thought and if I can figure out how to do it myself...then I will create a video to show you the possible steps.

There is so many ways of doing things in chief with all the tools .The sequence in which they are used , I believe is what is giving me issues .Would you have some time for me to discuss this over the phone ?

Your last videos were excellent They stay on track to the  specific area being addressed !! Other videos address  areas , but generalize some of the ways of performing the operations & the tools used to perform them !

A neat video would be using polyline solids for tile layouts in a shower . which camera view would be best wall elevation or cross section view ? How many different polylines would i have to use and join on a specfic wall to achieve a tile layout with different size tiles  & textures .
