  1. Microsoft Surface Pro is the closest you would get to an actual tablet that will run CA
  2. What rendering technique are you using (Standard, PBR)? How many lights are in the scene? Have you used imported symbols (Sketchup or other potentially high poly count models)? All critical factors.
  3. If you have different plate heights, just drag the roof plane you like across and make it fit. If you are trying to match the fascia lines but the walls don't align, then pick your poison. In addition to posting a plan file, attaching a sketch of what you want to achieve is like the Easy Button to getting help. Your sketch does not have to be pretty. We all know there are only 6 people left on the planet that can still sketch by hand.
  4. We are heading into SNL territory with notifications of release too early. Uhhh, wait, undo, undo...
  5. In other news, I still just see the x15 Beta in my digital locker.
  6. I generally keep 2-3 versions active. There is always something that goes wonky with text on each version when you open a v13 to v14 etc. So I may still use v14 for projects for 6 months while I am starting new projects in 15.
  7. I am not but I would like to be. Please update this thread if you find one. The only place I have found more than one in the room was when I attended JLC Live a few years ago.
  8. The difference as a callout is jus the graphic display, as far as I know. Also, this can set you up for a section cut display on all floors.
  9. Be aware, even if you get something in writing saying that you are not responsible for the spec, you are if you sign the drawing. "Do not go gentle into that good night..." (I just re-watched Interstellar last night)
  10. Mockett is water tight when open. "The water tight seal prevents liquids from getting inside the unit and protects the unit in both the open and closed position with an internal gasket protecting the electrical outlet components and an external gasket providing a seal between the receptacle flange and the kitchen countertop." 14 plus inches clear below. That's a lot of inches
  11. @Alaskan_Son I always appreciate your valuable input and opinions on this site. The politics of the building code and it's application are completely welcomed by me and they add value to the discussion.
  12. This thread has valuable information for us as designers. One more political comment and I am deleting this thread. Edit- Non code related politics.
  13. The only room names that matter: Kitchen, Ballroom, Conservatory, Billiard Room, Library, Study, Hall, Lounge and Dining Room
  14. Thanks Jacob. I did send it to support earlier. With the way the handles are buried, it appears that the door symbol is backwards or inside out.
  15. As an aside, the people who bought the house with the Mockett pop up in the island, love this feature.
  16. They do not seal when up. At least with the Mocket ones. That is the one I have installed. The thing to check when you spec these is how deep they are so you need to reserve that space. https://www.mockett.com/pcs77-23g.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwzuqgBhAcEiwAdj5dRoLNR1gAN3ER8y7cVf0nyy0x7JSBFoYeuYhbqxXcEkm2L2L8w2phKxoCMB4QAvD_BwE
  17. Thanks @Alaskan_Son . I appreciate the effort. I changed the door style and so it may be something with X15 and that catalog.
  18. @SabGroup Thanks for taking a look. I am confused. This what I am seeing. Some do, some don't. I have closed and opened multiple times to see if it was a refresh issue.
  19. I have not tested this yet in X14 but this image is from x15. The cabinet on the left is a full ht. cab and the right side is a wall cabinet. I can not get opening indicators to show in the wall cabinets. There are multiple in this plan and the settings are the same in the dbx for opening indicators to show (default). Is this a known issue or something I am doing wrong? EDIT orginally posted with wrong file link. Corrected kitchen v15 base cab elevations.plan
