  1. I agree Kbird, but this is an as-built that i'm recreating with changes to the main roof line. This version is just one of many and the only one with the valleys as such. Thanks for the tips. I'll try notching the corner as suggested. Plan attached. HA5.0.plan
  2. Besides using solids, does anyone know the secret to getting both bird boxes to build in a situation like this?
  3. Chop & Eric.....thank you! I have absolutely no idea how either of those ended up like that and it was driving me crazy. The All On and Unlocked is a great idea.
  4. Doing some elevations for an as-built/remodel. Initially, i created the Psolid at the top because the frieze wasn't building correctly. Now....for some inexplicable reason, i can't select, move, edit or delete it. Nothing. Also....for no apparent reason, my pointer highlights whatever possible direction i might draw a line or wall. I've looked everywhere, but how on earth do i turn this off? Pics and plan attached. Thanks. OH2.plan
  5. Somehow, I just knew it was something that you customized. Thank you!!
  6. you have the frieze on the gables at 11" and the fascia on the eave at 11". adjust accordingly.
  7. i have a mac and essentially do the same, except i don't even open the download folder. I just drag it from the download tab on my browser to the CA icon and there it is. Easy peasy.
  8. I had this same problem the other day. Could not figure out what was going on. Thanks, Glenn.
  9. I think this is pretty close. barrick_new_build_11.1.plan
  10. not sure if this is what you want but try typing in "footings" (instead of "footings and slabs") in the search box.
  11. Maybe I misunderstood the question, but I don't seem to have a problem with it.
  12. Not sure if this helps you or not but I dropped the porch ceiling a foot and changed the pitch of the roof in that area to 3.75/12. Drop it to 3.5 and it would easily come in under the window.
  13. I just did this and had to lower the roof plane baseline 36" to make it work.
  14. the exterior wall surface was changed in the materials list.
  15. Thank you Michael. I still have no idea how that happened. Very strange.
  16. Was working in X10 just a minute ago when I accidentally clicked something -no idea what and "undo" didn't help. All of a sudden all of my lines are very bold and blurry. I thought it was just the one plan on X10 but now all of them have the same characteristic. All the line weights look right and match what I have in X9. See photo for comparison -X9 on the right and X10 on the left. I know Solver or one of you other geniuses knows exactly what is wrong. Thanks.
  17. I have a Mac almost identical to the one you just bought/returned and noticed the same lag in opening a DBX....very irritating. But only in X10. No such problem in X9.
  18. The lower pitch in the photos looks more like a 6/12 to my eye. Nevertheless, you could continue the lower pitch across as I did here. KingsCastleDr(rev).plan
  19. I did...just wondered if others may have had the same problem.
