MOST video cards will only show 8 lights on at a time. Chief uses the 8 closest to the camera. if the camera is outside a room lights in that room won't show UNLESS you start the camera shot in the room and then back out of it. If you then adjust something in that room that the camera is no longer chief will sense that the camera is out of the room and the lights will go off again. The above applies to standard render camera shots. Ray Trace not affected.

you can use a molding line with appropriate moulding shape and use a white color with high emissivity for looks. Actual light though would need to be a 3D light source. You could use spots with 180 cut off angled appropriately on each side.

OK got it. Thanks! I am still confused though as the symbol name in the download starts with Stanisci so I thought that that was the beginning of the symbol name. I have made a lot of symbols and the name was always the same. Am I missing something as to how it is different?

Mark - Thanks for the symbol. Now, whre the heck is it? imported the symbol but cannot find it. Searched using stanisci and came up with the other hoods but not the strap one. Where did it go???

here is the plan altered. Check light settings etc. as well as cabinet and crown molding settings. Again, tone mapping is off. Also in picture attached I did auto correct in Microsoft Office picture manager. I like the effect better than doing the adjustment in Chief. NASO_II.plan

Believe me, nobody wants to USE your floor plans. If you want help I would suggest you post the plan and maybe some pictures of what it is you want to accomplish.

curious about the reference to Tectum. I know Tectum as panels that have acoustical purposes and look like white shredded wheat. What is you reference?

Got the update and got error messages but I did get a door. Got the same error messages on the old version. Tried it again and do get a door. Guess I could have just used the old version. Oh well......

Jon - I get errors on my end. X9 and windows 10. I think your version number is listed as 20,00.0021 and it should read 2.00.0021.
