  1. Me thinks CA really needs to do something about this.....IMHO
  2. I have nade this unit from both a triple casement and 3 units mulled and in both cases the center grid does not align with the side grids. Any suggestions??
  3. I had to make this garage door for a job if anyone can use it. 3 panel glass_beaded.calibz
  4. Can someone provide me with the Coronado-Ashlar-Belgian Creek texture? I up graded my libraries this morning and now it is gone and I am using it on a project. VERY frustration. I know this has happened to others. Please CA DO NOT remove stuff without notice. ARRRGGHHH!!!!!!!
  5. Two options: 1. clip an image of the door, create a material from it and apply to a slab door. 2. create from scratch using custom muntins etc. In that scenario I would still create a material and apply it to a slab in section view and then create the door over top of it tracing the muntins pver the existing.i
  6. Mark - yes RT. As is evident different materials may require different settings. As those of us who have been doing RT's for a while know, it's part art form. You can't just flip a switch.
  7. Try increasing the reflectivity or maybe even change setting to polished.
  8. Michael - Oh, I see. I would think though that changing it as part of one of the wall layers would change the material. Personally I think this is a little bug. No biggie.
  9. This is a wall from Chief's own wall types that I made a copy of and tried to change. I only used the spray gun AFTER I made the wall and used it in the plan tp change it to what I wanted.
  10. I have had this problem for a while and am finally posting about it. I open an existing wall type, make a copy, change the outer material and change the name but the existing wall material remains. See attached where the new material I selected is stone but siding still shows in the panel as well as the wall when drawn. What's up with that? I have to spray the wall for the change to occur. Trying to not have to make a wall from scratch.
  11. David - I think if you turned down the under cabinet lights the scene would not be so washed out. Also the pendant on the left looks higher than the others. In the LR scene are the couches supposed to look so different? THe one in the foreground seems to have too much emissivity and the one on the left seems a little flat. IMHO
  12. THanks for checking guys.. I will have to see why it is not working for me. OThers have been fine.
  13. Anyone else having problems with pano export. This is a STD render export not RT. Williams BU.zip
  14. you can use a polyline solid, a material region etc. sized to what you want and make the material stretch to fit in its dbx
  15. you could try selecting the upper wall and manually dragging the bottom down.
  16. Just got back in. Thanks for having a look. I'll check out your suggestions and try and see what it was I was doing wrong. THANKS!
  17. Scott - hate to bug you but can you get the driveway in front of the garage doors to proper level without creating a problem somewhere else? I am going nuts! well nutser......
