    You would need to either: Model these pieces of furniture yourself to import into Chief Pay Someone to model them Find the vendor provided 3d dwg or other supported format files and import Use a representative piece of furniture from the bonus catalogs such as wayfair Scan the piece of furniture yourself with a program that uses photogrammetry like polycam and then import Source the furniture from any number of free and paid model sources.     Please tag or quote me so I get notified Yes I do have such a cabinet but you have to build it on a scale by scale basis, which makes it almost simpler to just build it out of P-solids unless you are adamant about getting the door swing to show live. You need custom door symbols placed in the back face of cabinet and you need a custom front face as well. It is not an easy one

    You could always place material regions over your walls in an elevation view at the designation you would like and then take a screen capture and paste back as a material

    If you have a set of CAD details established, it is easier to import your new defaults and saved plan views and macros into the plan that has the CAD details, instead of dropping cad details into a new template

    POST 74 I'm constantly working to improve my methods of modeling and UV mapping. This blanket is only 8K polycount and looks fantastic! You should also be able to change the texture and have it map out pretty well.     FYI to everyone here, get to know this standard for mapping. Apply the following in your materials texture, then size and orientation should line up if used properly for UV mapping For instance, this doors rail is incorrectly mapped

    Just convert your BLK file to OBJ with textures and import straight into chief, pretty easy to trace in 3d from there using a section plane cut

    I'm going to make some educated guesses here. Type is used to report value in specific ways in terms of programming. It informs other functions. So it is used in programming language. It's useful to know the type of a window or the type of a tree. Type is simply not a reported value for some symbols, as in a recessed light is a class of symbol that does not have the option to report to type. It simply isnt written in. You could write a "Type" into the OIP but some items such as ridge caps don't have that access. For those reading this, this has been an ongoing discussion with Joe. I have a personal frustration with this discussion because he does not wish to state the end goal, the "thing" he is trying to produce, which makes it really difficult to guess at what he is ultimately trying to accomplish so that we, as a group can give him some viable solutions.

    Ha, you dont have to tell me, I sell my custom toolbars with a ton of style pallets that us custom cabinet door symbols and millwork symbols to include decor etc.. Saves me a ton of time
