  3. I will say vector lines are way way way slower to produce. I have a few material files that have generated patterns and they take about 10x to load up. So maybe your framing is in a vector view?
  4. @GeneDavis@robdyck @HumbleChief That video is dated and as @rgardner mentioned I have a full package of tools that make showers and baths with operable doors extremely easy to draw in a few minutes. You can find the video overview on Chief Architects Instagram account at the 16:37 mark https://www.instagram.com/tv/CbsmaGylqwj/ Purchase here as Ryan stated. https://www.rabbittdesign.net/shop/p/shower-and-bath-quick-tools

  6. See post above for X-13 rendering examples Best to post your plan in a new topic as this is considered thread jacking as we are now off topic and is frowned upon in the community guidelines A few tweaks, spent 10 minutes on this, ignoring the bad fridge texture. Just a bunch of lighting changes/fixes and sun/backdrop fixes: If this were my project I would swap all materials for my own
  7. Thanks for the callout @rgardner always so generous with my name, and agreed the Jintu is the man at rendering, I came up reading his every post. Basil. Why dont you drop an example plan for rendering in a new thread and I will play with a few things as well as a few others will as well Im sure. I do offer training if need be.
  8. Would you mind posting your plan with material files to check out?
  9. as suggested by dermot, I would strongly advise anyone to keep as close to OOTB as possible. Having dove deep into modification of this software and its conventions for years I could tell you it is an absolute mess when it comes to things you save to library over time and try to bring back in with a new "convention" thus having to modify the old items that you still use on the daily. I still have a layer in my templates that says "delete when found" and this is 100% from a library I have dropped in at some point in my save-as-template actions.
  10. Its the RT cores plus tensor cores and DXR does use both. What did you mean by this? Not sure what you mean, my roof planes are updated 100% of the time when I change a gutter. I could show a video, you may need to call in to tech support if yours are not You're really missing a lot of crucial information to this statement. It takes a graphics card 5 times as long to pull a 1000 samples on a shower vs an open room with no objects involved. This comes down to the skill of the technician and their understanding of rendering. If you had seen the link I provided earlier you would say that I raytrace scenes very quickly on a low end laptop. Just going to offer this up again, as stated previously, their is a denoiser at play when you EXPORT your image. It will not occur otherwise. Set your target sample rate, then use File/Export/Image/ and you will see for yourself that there is in fact a denoiser.
  11. Long days and nights trying to get ahead of that request. I've been offered a hefty sum by two separate individuals to sell my entire library and toolbars for complete swaps including all icons and all materials. Its always been organized enough for me but I hold my sale products to a hire standard. Give me a few weeks and I should start having some listings up. I've spent 3 hours a night cleaning, tagging, adding search attributes, optimizing, and organizing.
  12. They can be downloaded but I do charge for them. otherwise you can simply match them for yourself and rebuild. Takes a couple of hours to do just the chief setup. Requires an 11 button mouse at least to use my same system. you can do icons for yourself. But if I do them I have to custom write a script for your folder organization for the icons to show up correctly. package also comes with a zero inbox gmail radial menu, a Twinmotion radial menus, SketchUp radial menus and explorer radial menus. i have one person full on the system now and another one next week. She was cracking up after using it for a bit
