  1. just send the view as a stacked view, you dont technically need to ever send a plan with a reference view. you can always just stack views in layout if you prefer
  2. Imagine painting on estimating logic with a palette tool and having your material generation report exact cost data — directly inside your template. Check it out and future-proof your workflow with some serious automation power! 3. This is an older one that isn't taking advantage of the new gizmo they have shown:
  4. 250806 (2).mp4
  5. use the gable line tool, put some other pitch in there and then change it again to 5. its a glitch
  6. I'm already bothered by the latency of a 60hz monitor...that lag would drive me bonks!!
  7. Yes.. the parametrically resizable qualities of the door tool make it so that you can dynamically model any mfr or custom bath door
  8. this is a good one, I had been doing this for years as part of my template I am sure I have a video on it somewhere, its nice to be able to do barn door style shower doors in this way too. You can use a door and have a threshold and can get even more clever with closed shutters etc. Nowadays I do it with a cabinet though
  9. Chief you gave us a directory where we could put our SBSAR files to be auto parsed into Chiefs new substance builder, but when installing the latest update, you deleted all of my custom sbsar files for which I unfortunately did not have a backup. So you did two things wrong...you deleted a directory or files that you should never delete, and you did not include my sbsar files in your backup system. I will report
  10. can you attach your plan file and email so we can look and quote?
  11. It is possible but high likelihood that something will cause a big problem. Before you hit save..now you hit delete and export..is it just that the amount of time for the export that is bothersome?
  12. Can I ask why you feel that it is difficult? Backup on one machine Restore from backup on the other OR export library from one machine and export project import and import on second machine Possibly slower ..but not by much..also this method ensures that you are not generating conflicted copies from sync issues/hangups
  13. yes please share your propject or plan file
  14. I really only detail exterior roofs on office time, and like you, I would keep auto on otherwise
  15. Is there a reason you do not want to auto generate. Your old 2d is not the correct depth. If you insist, just copy the old 2d cad, regenerate the cad, and paste your old 2d cad in and delete the old, then save. Also D/W are not supposed to insert into cabinet fronts anymore, they are standalone. So you would change the symbol option to undercounter appliance and resize the height for an auto countertop to generate without the need of a cabinet
  16. see video: 250729 (9).mp4
  17. can you provide an example plan or calib file so we can show you the solution
  18. need a lot more info. Nothing like that has ever happened. Compatability warnings usually means that you have opened a file that was done in a previous version(including patch updates) Export your macros or share your plan so we can see what you are referring to. Many of us have far more complicated macro systems than this
  19. Is there a reason you aren't just switching to a manually drawn roof to finish up? Probably a lot faster than trying to coax auto-build
