stiles for cabinets

I have inconsistent availability for adjusting the stiles for cabinets in the cabinet dbx.

Sometimes it is available, sometimes it is grayed out.  I have selected framed, traditional overlay.

IT seems especially unavailable for full height cabinets.  What the heck am I doing wrong?

You have to click on the cabinet door and select it.

 

Picture one not selected and its all greyed out... picture 2 door selected and you can make all adjustments

Now that is crazy.  I just re-opened Chief and it is working.  I know I had selected the doors before

and it was still grayed out.  Must have spooks in my machine.

I find that I have to restart X8 more than other versions, for those little hick-up things that happen and the fix is only when a re-start happens.

Where it says "Side Type" you have to change it to "Custom Face".  Clicking on the item in the side window just does that automatically.  I suspect you just weren't actually highlighting an item when you were having problems.
