Adam_Gibson
Do most users hold the scroll wheel down to pan around a plan or elevation? My Logitech MX600 doesn't seem to allow this, but I remember having done it in the past. It's so slow to zoom out and back in to get to a new location. Any suggestions? Adam_Gibson
H'mm. I wonder if it's my mouse or my settings.

LostPond
I also lost my scroll wheel function to zoom and pan about the plan/elevations...this just happened Saturday.

glennw
The Aerial View works well for navigating around large drawings. I also have sequential shortcuts like ZA (zoom all), ZW (zoom window), ZI (zoom in), ZO (zoom out), PA (pan), ZP (zoom previous, or Undo Zoom), ZB (zoom building only). These make it easy to go exactly where you want.
Doug_Park
Pressing the scroll wheel to pan should work fine, unless the mouse driver is getting in the way.
Adam_Gibson
Perhaps it is. Can you suggest a way to test that?

DRAWZILLA
you should try to update your mouse driver.
SkagitDesign
My mouse was wheel button was set to "Flip". I just changed it to "Middle Click" and it now will pan.
Adam_Gibson
James, that was it! It was set to Universal Scroll. Hidden in the Other menu was the middle button choice. Thank you!
SkagitDesign
Glad it helped. You get extra commendation for interpretting my goofy sentance structure.. Hah.

Doug_Park
This is why I rarely install mouse drivers. For some reason the developers of these drivers think that doing something different than the OS defined default behavior is somehow better. I don't get it. They should install so that you only get the additional "features" if you ask for them.
