As far as I know, you can't change the size of the dashed line shown for a garage door except by changing the height of the door.  You could maybe make it a doorway, manually place a door panel, and then manually draw your dashed lines.  Or, you could maybe put it on a custom layer and turn it off in plan view and draw what you want to show manually.

I dont care if I cant see the dashed line. Good idea, I will try other types of doors so I can get rid of the dashed line.

I took a stab at this Joe.  My approach was to stack 2 doors on top of each other.

 

One door is nonscheduled and is used to show the dashed door above in plan and the other is scheduled and shows the door shut in plan and in 3D.

 

I played with horizontal panel offset values on both to get it to look right.  I was not able to get the door to show open in 3D.

 

Bit of a kludge but might work for you.  Plan attached.

 

I grew up in a house with this type of garage door, but have not seen one in a while.  Seems like sectional doors are now the thing.
