Challenging round roof

Hi all, does anyone happen to know how to model a round [12-sided] roof with a raised center cutout, as shown in this here photo?

 

I don't know where to begin with this...

Create it in sketchup then import it into chief as a symbol..........but you need EXACT sizes, pitch, and dimensions to make sketchup useful in this instance.

Looks like the floor plan is a polygon.

 

There is a Polygon Shaped Room tool in the Build menu drop down.  Try that.

Set up your roof defaults, draw the room exactly how you want it. Use CAD lines to snap walls or the Build> Wall> Polygon Shaped Room tool. Turn on roof autobuild setting. Note that manually building roofs like this is problematic as they do not snap together correctly.

Shane Kitchen in Michigan has done a couple large round roofs complete with truss layout. Don't remember his username.
