ImNewHere
Hi all, does anyone happen to know how to model a round [12-sided] roof with a raised center cutout, as shown in this here photo? I don't know where to begin with this... Thank you!
para-CAD
Create it in sketchup then import it into chief as a symbol..........but you need EXACT sizes, pitch, and dimensions to make sketchup useful in this instance. Loom is cool. https://www.loom.com/share/eebe1a80e68f48e4932879d46a4eecb1 Edited February 13 by para-CAD
JKEdmo
Looks like the floor plan is a polygon. There is a Polygon Shaped Room tool in the Build menu drop down. Try that. 2
CharlesVolz
Set up your roof defaults, draw the room exactly how you want it. Use CAD lines to snap walls or the Build> Wall> Polygon Shaped Room tool. Turn on roof autobuild setting. Note that manually building roofs like this is problematic as they do not snap together correctly.
