DeniseR
I'm designing an unfinished basement with just the 2x4 walls framed in - no cover material nor drywall. How can you do that so in the 3D view you can see the unfished 2x4 walls? I'm using CA x13.
ericepv
Select the wall and in the DBX, - Go to the 'Wall Types" tab. - Click on 'Define' - In the wall layers box, scroll down to 'Interior Layers' and delete the drywall You also need to be sure you build the wall framing (Build/Framing/Build Framing) In the 'Build Framing' DBX, go to the 'Wall' tab and click on 'Build Wall Framing. then click OK Framing should now be visible in 3D. - Eric
MarkMc
It would be a good idea to select Copy and give it an appropriate name before deleting those layers. Otherwise ALL of the walls of that type will now not have drywall.

Are you wanting to show them in a cross section view for con docs or in a 3d view, just to visualize?

DeniseR
Yes, framing is built and I can see the 2x4 walls in the perspective framing overview. I wanted to have the 2x4 walls show in the Full Camera View. I'll try what ericepv suggested.
