J_Mack
Hello. I am looking to add people to my drawing/3D rendering. All I can find are the "Silhouettes" and "Image CAD Blocks People" catalogs, but I'm looking for something that would be in 3D and in color (not flat gray silhouettes). Thanks! You can actually crop out the background of a photograph in a photo editor and then add that to you presentation as an image. Sometimes clients get a real kick out of seeing themselves in their virtual kitchen.
Ridge_Runner
"Real" 3D people "may" slow your system down if they are high polygon count. Check the count on whatever you find. That's why "images" work OK.
Rich_Winsor
Cardboard cutouts can be pretty effective if you use a good image and crop it carefully. I often use 2D images in my 3D renderings. In this example the young lady and the glass in the door are 2D images.
GeneDavis
I'll add a 3D person for renders, but always delete them from the model after saving the pics. Same with high-poly fixtures. A Kohler farm sink from their 3D library can really jack up a plan file's size.
