Patriciax1
Is there a way to create a 3D symbol of the building. I was wondering if you could fill me in on how to do this. I need to put 2 different house plans on a large lot. There are 26 houses in total on this site.
Joe_Carrick
Just make sure the building you use for the symbol is limited to just it's exterior components. Eliminate all interior walls, doors, cabinets, etc.
lbuttery
Joe: please refresh my memory is eliminating the interior stuff to reduce size of the symbol or is there another reason ? is it "mandatory" or just a good idea its been years since I made a building into a symbol Lew

In the image below everything you see except the road and the vehicles are 3 symbols from 3 separate plans placed adjacent to each other. This would have made for a huge file size and a very slow pan file except that there is literally nothing inside each model.
