dshall
I think it was someone from CA that not too long posted a web site where I could get topo info on line. I have since lost that site. I think it was something like FZZIZZ.COM...... I think it had "z's" in it. Does anybody remember that and if not is there a site you guys use to get general topography on line? thanks
johnny
I typically get my topos from Google Earth when I dont have a full survey - but I am curious what you are referring to. Was it something to do with the USGS?

rlackore
Does the County have a Land Records System / GIS portal? You can usually get 2 and 10 foot LIDAR contours from these sites. Or are you looking for 3D elevation data? That stuff is available here: http://ned.usgs.gov/

DRAWZILLA
Alan, it's just a me and Scott thing, I'm trying to get my head around keyboard shortcuts.
Gawdzira
Great. Sounds like it could be short enough for me to pick up the donuts for the soccer team. The little rug rats beat us last time and I want every advantage possible (including sugar induced mania).
rlackore
Scott, What are you using this web site for? Back country hiking? I can't see any relevance for the construction industry, unless you're laying pipeline or conduit. I'm just curious.

The slope of this land has nothing to do with where I am building but this is one of the many hoops I have to jump through to pull a permit to replace a kitchen fawcett. Cheryl_C_Crane
LOL! That's quite a job with 50' contour lines! Drip.. Like Robert, I'm lucky that our county has a portal to access 5' & 2' contours.
