Hammer7
Good morning, My design sheet is 24 x 36 and all is good but when I want to send that to print on an 11 x 17 paper is there a way to do this and have the dimensions print larger? I'm looking for video or reference set to this and I am running x 12 now.
robdyck
You need a separate default set to change scales. Let's say your currently setup for 1/4" scale and want to use 1/8" scale. Copy the default set that you use for 1/4" scale, rename it and double the size of the text, dimension text, arrows, etc. Also a good idea to have 2 separate saved plan views for each scale, named so that you know which is which, of course! robdyck
For dimensions, marquee select all of them, copy them, change their default and layer!
Hammer7
I'm revisiting this because last time I came up with a solution for a work around but this has come up again and I am finding others who have had this problem too. I tried to follow Rob's suggestions above but I think I need some interim steps to correct defaults or views. My dimensions are large in plan view but too small in layout. I will post the current settings in plan view too.

Gawdzira
The Plot Plan Default set (out of the box) with X15 Since I most often send my Plot Plan (renamed Site Plan) at 1/8" scale, I have my text set to 12" and my arrows set to 7" (they are the "Slash" type). These are my 1/8" scale drawing defaults. Check your minimum display size in Preferences. That might be what is making your plan views look like you have massive dimensions

In the Print View dialogue box. > Drawing Scale > Check Plot at “1/2 Scale” Since 11x17 is roughly half of 24 x 36 you might only need some minor tweaking of objects too close to the edge. Adjust those and you’re all good. Be aware that your scale reference which was probably set at 1/4” in now effectively 1/8” once printed. You might want to change that on your plans as well.
