ACADuser
Printing ALL sheets to PDF file via "PDFCreator" driver I have 2 sheets out of 7 that are rotated 90 deg. In the preview pane all are correct, they are landscape view. Is this an issue with the Driver or Chief? Is there a way to send each sheet to a separate file or is this the driver too? tommy1
I used to have this problem many years ago using PDF995. Ever since I switched to CutePDF, I don't have any problems (for years).
lbuttery
I've never had that problem with PDF995 been using it since 2004 Lew
ACADuser
So most likely a driver issue. I'll research that. Thanks
DRAWZILLA
Have you tried Chief's built in PDF tool??
lbuttery
While Chief's built-in PDF tool may work for chief I prefer a stand-alone tool as I create PDF's while surfing the web and for Excel and Word it's also handy as a virtual printer when working with a laptop without a printer it's also handy for creating archival copies of documents for backups and for emailing Lew
DRAWZILLA
Lew I didn't ask him to use another program for other uses. I simply said have you tried. Simple as that. Why do you always want a fight about which program is best, let me guess, you use it. Other people have different setups, while one program may work one your machine it may have conflicts on another.
lbuttery
Perry: if you read my reply again I didn't mention you by name I also didn't mention any PDF software by name but said "standalone" I was providing the OP with more info about using a broader based PDF creator rather than one solely dedicated to Chief I did mention PDF995 above when Tommy stated that he had issues to state that I have never had those issues but I never said PDF995 was the best if you find my zillion other replies when PDF questions arise you will find that I have never said PDF995 was the best and usually mention two or three other creators by names as alternatives BTW: it's been my impression that you are the "dogmatic" one who insists that your way is the only way I usually keep it generic and offer alternatives Lew
Gawdzira
If you are using X6 you might do well to use the pdf output directly from Chief. I am very happy with the results currently.
