para-CAD
I called the local planning department to see when they would be requiring 2018 IRC references in new plans for permit. Its unknown ATT. Last time the 2015 code was adopted on 1 JULY 2016. Just wondering if anyone has migrated to 2018 code yet.

Timberman6350
I'm in phoenix and we have adopted the 2018 code. Plus phoenix has it's own addendum's to that code as well. Just adds to the fun.
Joe_Carrick
So in California we seem to have a different set of dates. 2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, etc. The code adoption comes at the end of the year every 3 years. January 1, 2020 local building departments adopted the 2019 CRC (California Residential Code). I suspect this is just because to get the California Codes updated it takes about a year from when the International Codes are published.
