4hotshoez
I have a fully developed floor plan with floor to clg at 8 ft now I need to make it 9 ft. What is the easy way to make the change?
LevisL
Double click on your floor tools icon (blue and white house) and change the ceiling height there. As long as your rooms are all using the default height, they will all update.
4hotshoez
I am not seeing a floor tools icon. Hints?

4hotshoez
I am running windows CA X6, I do not have that icon on the tool bar. I do have it in the Build menu, but I cannot double click on it. There are a number of other tools in its place that are related. I tried double clicking on all of them. Nothing is getting me to a place to change a clg.
4hotshoez
Looks like you may have the "child tool pallet" option selected. Once I changed to that, it worked. Thanks
Solution glennw Posted September 4, 2014 Solution Share Posted September 4, 2014 You can also get to it through the Defaults. Double clicking a tool is a shortcut to the relevant location in Defaults.

DRAWZILLA
I would just love to get my head around hotkeys. just another thing to think about. Maybe when things slow down.
glennw
My shortcut for Floor Defaults is .........da....da........FD. d dot probably uses some obscure combination that makes sense to only him! Perry, I would be happy to send you my Hotkey file and all you need to do is Import it. Just guess at what shortcut should be and you will probably be right - it's not too difficult - my shortcuts are very logical.
dshall
Obscure? 1,1, as in the first thing to check. Hot keys that start with F are for FRAMING hot keys.
