cdhomevision
Hello. Would anyone know how to convert old file versions of Chief Architect to readable current plan file types?

DavidJPotter
Files created by versions earlier than X8 must, like Lew said to be opened and saved in X8 to use in X8, X9 or X10. I, like Lew saw a thread answer here by Chief Inc personnel that one could do this using the X8 viewer software. I have not tried this myself because I have versions X10 back to old version 7 on my PC so I do not need to rely on the free version of X8 Client Viewer. DRAWZILLA
He doesn't say what version he wants converted, version 10 forward, just open the plan file in your newest version. Version up to version 9 use the methods above.
mthd97
Thank you all for the information above as I may need to use an old plan that was created in an old version.
