Doug_N
What do the X marks represent? Anyone know?
tommy1
Those are temporary points generated when you select a roof plane. Go to the points parent tool and you'll see that you can delete temporary points.
tommy1
This tool is very helpful when using manual roof planes and seeing where they intersect each other. I use it all the time.
DRAWZILLA
You can also turn them off and not generate them at all if you want by going to preferences and turn them off

DavidJPotter
They are also called "current points" for use in general 2D CAD, it merely demarks a selected "current point" from which you can do other 2D CAD actions. This is not "arcane" or mysterious knowledge, that and all other things are explained and defined in your "Reference Manual" and "Users Guide" found under "Help".
