ajrare
Rec'd attached when opening emailed from client CA File. Am working with CA8. What is this message?
rlackore
I suppose it's exactly what it says: the plan file you are attempting to open was created with a version of Chief that is newer than the version you are using. If you want to open the plan file, then you'll need to upgrade.
Alaskan_Son
That message will also display when a file has been saved in X9. I think the wording should be changed to drop the "X8" part.
Joe_Carrick
You should probably ask your client what version of Chief the Plan was created in. It could be a later version of Chief X8 or even X9. To open the Plan you will need to use the same version.
Dermot
The plan you were sent was probably saved in X9. You will not be able to open it and modify it in X8. You could: - upgrade to X9. If you have SSA, this is free. - download the X9 Viewer to view the file. - ask the person who sent it to you if they have an X8 version of the file. joey_martin
There was an X8 update awhile back. Did you not update?
