I have a Wacom Intuous 5. I'm on a Mac with the latest OS and newest Wacom Drivers. CA11 is the only program I have trouble with. When I select anything, there is a three second delay before the cursor will move again. The problem started in version 10. Before that, the Wacom was the only device I used. I didn't even own a mouse. tablet does

According to the system report, I have no NVME devices. The internal storage is an Apple SSD PCI. My Mac Pro has PCIe x 4 available so it would take full advantage of NVME, I'm just not sure it's worth it.
-
Do you think it's worth changing to NVME on my Mac Pro. My test results on my internal SSD are 1446 MB/s Read, 887 MB/s write

Watch this video to the end. You may need to adjust your Bios for the Motherboard.

I built a fireplace with a TV above the mantle to match a local company's work. I blocked it and save it to the Library. Is that what you're looking for?

I was waiting to see what others thought. Yes, my Mac Pro had a significant increase in performance, especially in 3D views.

Brilliant. I made it 1/8" thick, 245 Lumens and 54" above finish floor. Much better, maybe a little bright but we normally add a dimmer. 245 Lumens is the manufacturers spec for high output Kichler, 125 is stand output
-
Yes, I use Kichler, It's 1/2" wide and at the most, 1/8" thick

Being an Electrician, I really like the new LED Tape. The default Lumens are 25. The two product I use are 125 Lumens for standard and 245 for high output. How do I permanently change the Lumens default for the Tape?

Have you tried having the Walkthrough follow a Spline? Along the Spline, add a Key Point. Click on the Key Point and adjust the speed of the camera movement to near zero. Add another Key Point and return to normal speed.

Mac Setup - Starting Fresh - New Year 2019

Glad to hear the Mac Mini is working for you. When I read the specs on this new design, I thought the GPU was the biggest draw back. Your answer with the external GPU is a good solution. -

I had a MacBook Pro years ago but never used it to CA. I've had three different Mac Pros since 2006. -

Do you have both the Plan & Layout, Open at the same time? Does the Layout contain 3D views? If so, it's my experience that an increase in computer speed will not help. I've tested this with a new iMac vs my Mac Pro. To me, the answer is leave the layout closed during editing. -

It IS frustrating. Comcast is a good example. Every few years I switch from a residential to a business account and vice versa just to get a better deal. Tonight, I signed my wife up for a food vendor that I buy from regularly just to get 30% off for new customers. It worked, the only difference is her email and name, instead of mine.
-
I've been using CA since 1997, I don't use technical support, don't need it. In my business, I give long term customers a better price. I don't reward ones that leave and come back.
