  1. Set all of the countertops in the island to '0" Use custom countertop like others have said.
  2. It seems like this could be a Registry problem. It's been awhile since I've used a Windows machine on a serious level. I switched to Apple about 12 years ago. Do they still have utilizes to search and correct Registry conflicts?
  3. Have you updated your drivers? Complete updates from Dell first. Then: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
  4. Which version of Open GL do you have? X8 requires Open GL 2.1 or higher X9 requires Open GL 3.3 or higher

  6. Thanks Mark, I'll give that a try. I tried "save as" but I didn't try copy & paste.
  7. I'm drawing a four unit, two story apartment building with one common basement. In other words, two apartments one the first floor, two on the second floor and a basement that is full size and as large as two apartments. The apartments on the first floor are identical, except the sides are reversed. Same thing on the second floor. 1st floor design is different than the 2nd fl. Since both sides are identical, only reversed, I'm trying to avoid redrawing the seconds units. I don't need a complete 3D model, I'm more interested in having a layout with 5 pages. One for each of 4 apartments and one for the basement. I tried drawing only one side and sending floor 1 layout on page 1. I reversed the plan and sent it to layout page 2. The results was both sides matched, page one also reversed in the layout Any ideas for to make this easy?
  8. I use EverWeb for web site design software and Hosting. EverWeb is designed for a Mac. The HTML Snipett is simply an icon that I drag onto the web page and insert the HTML code from Chief Architect's web site, after the 360º Pano is saved and shared.
  9. Here's my web site. I inserted an HTML Snippet, then copy and paste the link to the Embed Code on the CA Pano .
  10. No Problem on my Mac Pro.
  11. Apple is coming out with an iMac Pro, probably this fall. The technical specs and it have a real WOW factor like up to 18 cores and up to a Radeon Pro Vega 64 graphics processor with 16GB of HBM2 memory. Of course the price will match those top specs. The latest iMac 27" has a 3.8GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor and Radeon Pro 580 with 8GB video memory. I just bought a Mac Pro with 3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor, Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB VRAM each, 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD. I looked at the iMac but decided to go with the Mac Pro because of the more cores and dual video cards. My new Mac Pro flies with CA9.
  12. Try; View > Toolbars and make sure it's checked.
  13. If anyone haven't opened a 360º Pano on your phone, you should try it now. It's a completely different experience than computer screen. Move your phone up, down, spin around.
  14. I always send the 360º Pano to their cell phone by text or message. Copy the Direct URL and Paste it in a message. It works much better on a phone.
  15. Kurt, thank you so much for taking the time to make this. I've been using CA since 1997 and have never been able to build a 3D item. You've given me incentive to learn it. Greg
  16. I've never used Polyline Solids, I need to learn that.
  17. LOOK HERE The outside material is Black Metal, I'd like to show a fire inside. Size is 25 1/4" high, 58 3/8" wide, 8" deep Unit is 17" from bottom to floor.
  18. Does the James Hardie catalog download meet your needs? Look HERE
  19. I use ten passes. Look at my web site under the "Photos" tab. Each one is ten passes. My old Mac Pro took about 1 hour 15 minutes My new Mac Pro takes about 20 minutes. www.barringerelectric.com
  20. I don't have these several of these materials: One is; unnamed_model4c238c8656140cd9f3f0c71893b70a40.png
  21. Also, go to the attic or 2nd floor level and align the fireplace wall with the first floor wall. Select the wall and look at the tool bar at the bottom. Align With Wall Below
  22. My old Mac Pro (2009) died, probably a power supply but parts are not available from Apple. Genius Bar could not fix it. I bought a new Mac Pro, the one that look like a small round trash can. Specs: Processor - 3.5 GHz 6 core Intel Xeon E5 RAM - 16 GB Video card - AMD FirePro D500 3MB Storage - 250 GB SDD 3.0 USB Bus Thunderbolt Bus So far it seems very fast compared to the old Mac Pro. Does anyone have a good test for using it with CA9 ?
