  2. There are several TV's... but none with an image on them. I've always just resized the TV's they have to be whatever size I want. As far as I know you have to make your own image for the screen... pretty easy to find something on the web to clip, but I've never seen anything in Chiefs library for it.
  3. The main debate was really over dimensioning to wall centers vs. sides, windows were thrown in later but you make perfectly valid points for window dimensioning. I think Rene's the only one who put up any kind of argument for side dimensioning of windows in this thread, and I think he made a valid argument at that... which could add 'depends on the client' to your 'depends on the plan' point to fit Rene's argument for fitting specific furniture on adjacent walls. In another thread in the top of the heap right now by Robdyck has a similar topic where I pointed out that I usually dimension to a windows centers when they're centered on a room, or I just note that fact, but I dimension to their side closest to a wall where I want the window a set distance from that wall... ensuring that even if the window changes size, I want it that distance from the wall. Your points above support that. Other benefits of one-side only dimensioning are the same as center dim., the plan remains less cluttered, and I'm not calling out what could be construed as a framing opening which should in my opinion only be taken from one place, either the window schedule on the plan or the one provided by the window supplier.
  4. Not quite hard-coded. It seems to be a set amount more (~6") than whatever you have the gap set for. If you increase your gap, that will increase too.
  5. Usually that's referred to as a 'man door' to avoid confusion
  6. Ok, that's usually true for me too... but then they provide the schedule with R.O's. which the framer should be using. I don't want to dim. to both sides because then I'm at fault if a window ends up with a different R.O. Rene Rabit recently made a compelling argument for dimensioning to sides vs. center in the thread 'dimension center'... saying his clients want to know they have enough room on the wall beside the window for their furniture. I don't usually get into that level of detail with clients, but from time to time I do...but usually I just want the window either centered on a room, or X-distance from a wall and wherever the other side of the window ends up is where it ends up no matter what size the window ends up being.
  7. So it doesn't interfere with your window label ? LOL
  8. FWIW...I usually dimension to just one side of a window. Builder should be getting R.O. from the schedule.
  9. Kind of a pain to do, but change the gap from marked object to be further from the window.
  10. Didn't know it was a tech support type issue. Okay... I deleted those invisible attic walls but the problem still persists. Did you try it? Strike that... now I see it's automatically come back as a regular attic wall on a layer that I had turned off.
  11. Admit you're just bored today and looking to get a rise out of someone. You're making circular arguments... up above somewhere you said a carpenter can easily do the math to split dimensions, now you're saying they're going to be confused centering an upsized post dimensioned to the edge. Come on now...
  12. That's a dad joke for you...
  13. Tried that both ways... delete left vs. right and no change either way. I tried copying that wall and those windows into a new plan to post it here and then of course the problem goes away
  14. That's what I did to make sure they were the same before I posted
  15. Yep... I tried too. It doesn't seem to want to put rafter ends on the high side no matter what.
  16. Everyone once in a while I get this random fill or no-fill between adjacent windows or windows and doors when the spacing between is always the same in both places.
  17. If you're able to open and use the tiles I sent you in the plan above, then you can arrange them in whatever pattern you want.
  18. There's a Chief manual?!?!.... I thought it only came in Automatic? Great GIF !!!
  19. Okay, I'm back, sorry to leave you hanging. Had to make dinner, etc.. I thought I saved that plan properly for you but here's another try. Let me know Creatrix_Tiles.zip
  20. I don't know either, but since you didn't put up your signature maybe you're using a different version. What are you using?
  21. The same carpenters you said couldn't build a roof properly ???
  22. Center of windows/doors is a totally different thing than center of walls. No issue at all with dimensions to center of windows/doors.
  23. Majorly disagree with you on this Michael. I have a 2x4 wall which needed for some reason to change to a 2x6 wall, 99X out of 100 I do NOT want the center of that wall to be the center of the previous 2x4 wall... I want it to go one way or the other the full difference in width.
