Simply reprogram your hot keys to recognize F10. BTW, I did not loose the function..... something maybe awry with your computer, Either quit and reboot and if that does not fix, reprogram your hot key..... should take 12.67 seconds

Are the plants Images? I do not think images will show in vectors.....

Another option would be to build a sloped terrain, build a sidewalk and then turn it into a symbol. The roof plane is probably the best solution. I do not like converting to symbols because the editing is lost..... but not sure if there is much choice..... the roof does not need to be turned into a symbol if there will not be a problem with cutting walls......

I would of bet that this was the solution. Dermot, that is such a mystery layer.... I am not sure what is on that layer. I do not believe the walls are on that layer. Is there a reason for this layer? Is it left over from days gone by? It is rarely an issue, I doubt there are many users who are aware of the layer.

This is very interesting. I am not sure if you are on X8, but with x8 you can associate the height of certain items with the terrain or the floor,the finished floor, the ceiling, the roof, the absolute height or the total height of Dermot's hairline. When it comes to blocked moldings, what height do you want it tied to? You might want to pass that request on to CA. I wish I could associate the height of moldings to something other than absolute. If an item is associated with the terrain, and you delete the terrain, I assume you might have problems. But then when you rebuild terrain, I assume all should be well with your blocked moldings. This is an example of a very subtle nuance that no matter how CA sets it up, someone will be disappointed.

I think you build one truss and then multiple copy. Suppose you built the first truss, do a back clip cross section, edit truss in elevation to eliminate the eave and then multiple copy.

Oh Boy, with X8 you can put the roof sheathing as either part of the roof structure or the surface structure. Depending on whether you put the sheathing as part of the roof structure or surface structure could effect what you just said. I know, TMI.
