I think you build one truss and then multiple copy. Suppose you built the first truss, do a back clip cross section, edit truss in elevation to eliminate the eave and then multiple copy.

isn't the soffit height defined by the sub fascia?

Oh Boy, with X8 you can put the roof sheathing as either part of the roof structure or the surface structure. Depending on whether you put the sheathing as part of the roof structure or surface structure could effect what you just said. I know, TMI.

That sounds too easy.

Hey guys, I have not heard from Glenn, maybe we can do it tomorrow if I hear from him. I need to go to the gym now to work off some of my fat. I will keep you posted. There was some pretty good stuff in the beginning of the meeting that was not resolved and maybe with Glenn's help we can get it done.

Yes, use the joist direction arrow, change spacing in arrow, divide different spaces with BEARING WALLS .

Wow, I thought it was just the opposite. Build the bay manually and the world is your oyster..... except for a few minor limitations..... but better that than auto bays......

A participant in tomorrow's GTM emailed me and suggested I invite someone from CA to attend as a "fly on the wall". If someone from CA is interested in listening to the discussion, they can email me with an anonymous email and they can truly be a fly on the wall. I will add, in spite of our complaints, most of us feel that you guys do a great job. Thank you for all you do for us.

That did happen to me also, I have not see it lately. However, I have printed some PDF's where other layers that were turned off printed... my print was a mess. I just don't think I need to or do I have the time to recheck what CA produces in a PDF. Here is an example.... this was not on there when I went to print.
