There you go Steve, you now have 2 you can use. Note I added a refrigerator that you should add to your library and then you can drop it in a cabinet. Thanks for bringing this topic up.

Thanks Eric, I could not do anything with it. I could not take ref out of cabinet if I wanted to. I have added my own ref in cab. Problem is my ref always goes into top part of cabinet. ref in cab 2.plan

I bet one room is a slab and the other is a wood floor..... OTOH, sometimes when the wall is very wide, the floor material goes missing..... and then you could PTP

Thanks Michael, A nice refresher. I do not remember if you need to resend after changing the settings. Maybe Dan needs to resend with the correct settings.

Changing the line arch tool from convex to concave
dshall replied to RobUSMC's topic in General Q & A
Is there a way to predetermine whether it arcs concave or convex. I swear, after 12 years I think it always goes in the opposite direction I want. -
I think you understand it correctly, the slow down is linking the views to a new plan file.

So funny, I started spelling the “M” with an Em, eliminated the “m” got confused and blah blah blah, only the 33rd mistake I made today.

You are wrong. Build it and you will understand.

Yes, that is the point. A deck built on level zero directly below a deck built on level 1 gets confusing when looking at framing plan in plan view. i have this situation in a plan. Inserting a floor could solve the problem but I am dealing with three units in one plan file on one lot with multiple floor heights. I tried inserting the new level zero but my project then looked like an E C Escher drawing.

Did you notice in plan view the framing for the bottom 2 decks was framed on level zero even though one of them was actually built on level 1. I have a condition like this on a project I am working on. For some dumb reason I built the basement on level zero so I had a challenge displaying the deck. Suppose the deck on level one was built directly above the deck built on level zero..... the framing for both decks would be stacked on top of each other in plan view. Thanks for the Birthday wishes guys..... I'm off to pick up a couple of driver's from my brother, then an hour long bike ride, Dinner with Lynn and friends and then .... golf is tomorrow. BTW, this is the first time I built the basemen on level zero and I get dinged for it.

Build a 3 story house and build a foundation. Now put a deck on each side of the house , each deck on a different floor/level, 4 decks total. (this includes putting a deck on the FOUNDATION/ZERO LEVEL) Now building framing, Note on what level each deck is built on. BTW, when defining the basement, it can be a walk out basement. Any comments?

I was wondering about that. Maybe it is an issue with Radeon on a PC instead of a Radeon on a MAC. I am so close to pulling the trigger, I have one particular that is killing me.

Hey guys, looking for some advice. I am looking at the attached computer. Will this computer give me a noticeable increase in speed? As Perry said, my current 'puter seems to be getting slow. Any input would be awesome.

It's either a hidden Bitcoin mining algorithm on our systems or it's Trump's fault.

I too have noticed a slowdown, hence the interest in a new computer. I need to find out if the newer computers are fast enough to warrant the cost.

Hi MAC users. I have a late 2013 IMAC. I am thinking of upgrading. Before I upgrade, I would like to test drive a particular plan on a newer/faster computer. If you have a newer/faster computer, would you mind emailing me. I would like to discuss test driving my file on your computer. Thanks

I think Michael has worked it out.

I am working with Michael on this, I will let you know how it works out.
