  1. I'm not excited about the loony tunes icons either but its not that bad. I'm getting used to them. X7 is great and giving me no problems so don't let that stop you from enjoying the benefits of X7. Good Job CA!!!
  2. Ok, thank you! Didn't think about it being the beta version. Does that mean its a test run and am I supposed to be giving my thoughts on what I think about it?
  3. I don't like the new animation look in X7. Is there a way to go back the the X6 look for the icons? I also don't like the big over size check marks and x marks in the layer set dialog box. I guess I could get use to it but was just wondering it there is a quick way to revert back to the old x6 look?
  4. That didn't work either. There should be a way though because it worked in X6 I don't think I mention that this is a slab foundation (monolithic pour). It works fine with the raised foundations.
  5. Never mind, figured it out. Thank You
  6. When I cut and paste the blocked cad detail into my plan file in comes out in solid black lines instead of gray dashed lines that I selected. What's up with that?
  7. That worked with X6 but does not work with X7
  8. I don't want there to be a foundation added to my porch when I use the automatic build foundation. I there a way to turn it off so it wont do that or do I just need to delete the foundations after it builds them? Sorry about grammer
  9. I'm sorry I'm not real sure who you are addressing? I fixed my problem by switching my default graphics processor to NVIDIA. Are you speaking of the Intel graphics processor? If so let me know what you are looking for and I will send the information on that hardware to you.
  10. I forgot that when I installed X6 I had to set the default graphics processor to NVIDIA. I just remembered and I changed it and it works fine now. When you mentioned NVIDIA the light bulb came on in my head. Thank You
  11. Here is my computer information in my signature now. All I'm doing is drawing in the floor plan and when I scroll the library the error message comes up.
  12. I downloaded X7 today and as I'm drawing I keep getting this error message. Can anyone help me with this?
  13. After listening to all of you I decided to try to put together a list of parts to build my own system (PDF attached below). This is what I came up with. Any thoughts. opinions and suggestions would be appreciated before I pull the trigger. I was also looking at a Dell system (XPS 8700 http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-8700/pd?oc=fddogs107h&model_id=xps-8700) because I have been happy with my laptop from Dell and their support. Their description is hard to compare with my list though. Computer System.pdf
  14. I'm still looking and deciding on a new PC myself. Is there any benefit to having a touch screen?
  15. I messed around with the room wizard once but it didn't seem like it would help me much. Maybe I just need to give it more of a chance and see what it is capable of. Thanks Perry
  16. Sent you a personal message. Would love to attend the on line meeting.
  17. My office is in La Mirada and most of my work is Whittier, La Mirada, Anaheim, Downey. Good reputation in this area for about 25 years.
  18. I would like to go to a CA class or user meeting but there is never anything that I see closer to the LA/Orange County Area. Otherwise I would probably go.
  19. I understand zoning, setbacks, parking spaces, lot coverage....... I appreciate the help but I must not be asking the right questions because they haven't been answered yet. I know that I have space for a 80 ft. x 30 ft two story apartment building with taking into consideration the R3 zone in LA that I need 1 parking space per unit, 5 ft side setbacks, 15 rear and 15 front....... That's simple stuff. I went on Google search and found some floor plans of other apartment buildings to get some layout Ideas to get me started Thank You Respectfully
  20. I knew how to do that myself but its always nice when someone gives you something just to be nice with no strings attached so I wanted to say thank you. But Perry is right we need to know how it was done otherwise we don't learn. So Thank you both!
