Sorry Mick, am i missing something? I don't see a file

I imported patterns but they just copied what I already had in the library

So, Is there a way to add a new pattern to this dialog box under the type? I see add to library but thats it.

Thanks Guy's! I should have seen it, these are very simple steps. I have had very little sleep this week because I have been starring at this computer to much. Put a lot of time in watching video's and reading the Manuel and now I'm burnt out! But I got my new templates looking real good now! Thank's Again

I can do an angle hatch but I don't know how to do a angle cross hatch. I guess now I need to learn how to make patterns. I typically don't make custom stuff because I'm not doing the in depth design as some others do. I only use what is available in the program. Maybe it is just a mistake by Chief programmers that it got left out.

There is no hatching in the library. I just don't like that it was taken out. Doesn't make sense to me. I will quit complaining and make my own.

Ok, so I can make the pattern but why all of a sudden we loose the pre-made pattern in X11 after having it in all the other old version? Does anyone else have this problem? Or is it just me?

I'm sorry, am I missing something? That area is grayed out?

I have some fill patterns missing in X11. So far I noticed that the Angle Hatch and Cross Hatch is missing. Anyone have a clue?

If I export a plan and I want the recipient to get everything to open it properly with all the patterns, are these the right setting? Anyone? I mean,I know I can just save the plan and send it but whats the best way to make sure everything comes with it?

What are you looking for in construction docs? I mean, specifically? Out of curiosity

Im a little confused about the User catalog. I thought that I physically put all the items in it that I use mostly and things I create. Where did all the other items come from? It looks real similar to the core catalogs.

I think you might be looking in the wrong folder or it got mixed up.

I left x10 alone when I installed x11 but I excepted to update all my files and then I went in and fixed the default plan and reset everything so I still have my plan files the way they were but my new plan file is set out of the box Chief. I wanted the out of the box plan and I'm rebuilding my new template file from it

It is yesterdays date and I downloaded the program today.

I don't know if it has anything to do with those dates but I also reset all these defaults to get me back do out of the box Chief

This is the way I set mine I know you guys are saying the same thing but this is just a picture of it.

I have an estimating program that I built for my business in excel years ago and it has developed a lot over the years. I kept it very simple. Trying to figure a way to get it to work with Chief somehow.
