  1. That's hilarious! But I try not to pass judgement on this forum and don't relate that video to it. Their are a lot of good people here that just like to help. I would like to show off if I could but I don't know enough, lol
  2. That makes sense the way you explained it.
  3. I never heard that before. So I guess I'm yelling at my potential new clients as soon as they get my written proposal? I don't know how I have gotten any work over the last thirty years. I use caps a lot. never heard that before.
  4. I vote this the award winning most worthless thread ever!
  5. Were you able to solve this issue and if so what was it?
  6. I agree with this statement but it's a little harsh because you don't know how much Eric has helped others through very difficult situations. He's here because he wants to give back like the rest of us that are here. Plus we learn a lot out of helping others. Him telling you to go to help is the way he helps you sometimes and others will answer differently. You should respect that and not slam him. Also you should read the Forum Guidelines at the beginning of the forum Thank you for understanding
  7. Hello Henry! Thank you for your question! Here are a couple of video link's to help you understand the layers. I like the video links better than the help because I'm more visual and not so good with written instruction. This video covers X10 layers in detail and so you will need to use help or go to the new feature video's for some of the things that are new in X11 like the wrench Icon. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/videos/watch/4/understanding-layers.html https://www.chiefarchitect.com/search/?default_tab=video&q=x11 Forum Guidelines: This forum is owned by and moderated by Chief Architect, Inc. 8. Hey guy's, I have asked before if anyone new where I can find rolled roofing and no one seemed to know. Just wanted to make you aware that I found it in "Owens Corning" catalog. Hope this might help someone Search words for this topic: Rolled roofing, cap sheet, modified torch down
  9. You would think that the "Break Terrain" tool would have solved that issue.
  10. Thank you David, I didn't know that about the data lines
  11. Not sure what is causing the terrain to be pulled down in this corner. I tried the "Break Line" tool and it doesn't seem to matter. Plan is attatched Open Patio Plan2.zip
  12. Yes, Thanks Glenn! I tried to figure it out and didn't see problem either.
  13. It only shows that line after you block them
  14. My mistake I was in the right place I was just over looking them. No Im having trouble finding so decent patio furniture. I want big chars and sofa's with cushions but Im finding stuff just within any the furniture library. Its just painstaking finding the right stuff to go with what Im trying to create.
  15. Mick, I'm and SSA user, How come I cant find this in my library? I don't even have a category named "Detail"
  16. Wow! Thank You! Didn't expect that but it sure helps a lot!
  17. Wow! That is a huge step up for me to start with! Thank You!
  18. I haven't drawn a built in bar-b-que like this yet. Is there any library content anywhere for this or do I need to build from scratch? If I do build it, is it best to use the cabinet tools? Looking for possible help video's and/or help content Any information to get me started would be much appreciated. Not trying to get out of doing the work, just need a little boost! Thank You in advance!
  19. Yes I agree, This T@G was actually created with a roof plane. I have been experimenting and your right it is a very powerful tool.
  20. The T@G bottom layer can be added (as per my past post) to cover the eaves and you can use the soffit to do the inside T&G because most of the time we don't have hips to worry about on the inside. I think that will work nicely.
  21. I think maybe the ceiling plane idea would be a good solution on the inside because a cavity will need to be created for insulation anyway. Just a thought, haven't tried it.
  22. My problem is solved!!! This will work great for me. I can sleep now!
  23. Yea it burst my bubble! Thought I was on to something good.
  24. Problem is on the hip. The soffit cant be edited to do the angle and it sticks out.
