  1. One more thing, the invisible wall on the left porch I had to make it upper pitch to match the other front porch walls. One more thing, the side porch wall I marked high shed gable. I think that’s all.
  2. There were other things that I did, the roof default was set to 12/12 which I changed to 6/12. I checked walls to make sure they were mark the correct pitch. The two walls with the 8/12 pitch, one was marked 6/12 and the other was marked 12/12 so I changed them. The reason I lowered the porches was because with them the same as the house it want to match the 8/12 roofs to the porch pitch, I’ve never had to do that before? You might compare my version to yours and play around with the wall to see what I changed.
  3. Also your signature says x12 but it would only open in x15.
  4. Check this out, auto roofs is turned on. I set up the roofs and I had to drop the porch ceiling height 1" to get the center Gable to work on 8/12 pitch so I hope this is what you wanted. Devlin-Varin house.zip
  5. Hi Tony, I sent you an email and would like to talk about helping you with your plans. Thanks you.
  6. For the deck make sure the build deck framing is on and the layers or turned on in your 3D views. Edit your deck railing to be post to beam or post to ceiling. The patio walls showing on second floor are probably Attic walls, if so turn off the attic wall layers in plan view.
  7. I’m interested and sent a PM with my $0.02
  8. I’ve designed several in the last year. Its according to what your plan is. Do you want pole barn framing, conventional framing or steel framing, like clear span or cold form steel. I have plans for all these and could probably make you a template plan. Shoot me an email if you’d like to talk about it.
  9. Something different. Bocce Ball court in Florida.
  10. In your plan it looks like the top of your garage floor is above the top of the stem wall. The door is not in the foundation to cut it.
  11. You can make 5 pages; I turned off all layers and then turned on the ones I want to show on page 1. Send that to Layout page one and then continue the same process for the remaining 4 pages. Not a good way and takes some time, but it's the only way I see doing it. Hope that helps.
  12. Is the lower level defined as a deck? It looks like its a room other than a deck. I drew a quick house with two decks, one the lower is a deck and the other I marked Balcony and removed the floor finish to expose the OSB.
  13. Hi Hugh, I would like to talk to you about you project. I sent a PM, so give me a call or email and we can talk about you plans. Thank You.
  14. Check your wall type and see if the sidling is marked as framing. I’ve had that before.
  15. Thanks, my email is below. garybills_9@yahoo.com
  16. Yes, you will be able to do everything in X11.
  17. If you can't find anyone, I can do it in Home Designer Pro 2020. You would have to go to Edit, default settings, plan and mark allow editing in select Home Designer Products. Gary Bills garybills_9@yahoo.com
  18. Your gable wall is not in line with the wall below and what your seeing is the wall framing not a truss. Line the walls and the framing will rebuild. You can make a new wall type for the gable walls and remove the drywall in the wall type specification. If you want end trusses draw a truss at the ends and mark the end truss and check force truss rebuild. You will probobly then have to turn off auto wall framing and manually delete the end gable framing.
  19. I made some notes that might help you set things up. Hope it helps. s.
  20. This is close with almost all auto roofs. I did this in X12, that's the farthest I go back.
  21. Open the room specification, structure, floor finish to add a floor finish on top of the concrete.
  22. Edit wall layer intersections for the wall issue other than the one piece of base. Make one roof plane and make it curved the break as needed to fit against silo. Did these in X15.
  23. Hi John, I sent you an email. Thank you.
  24. I sent you a PM, contact me and we can discuss helping you out with the dormer. Thanks.
