    Check your roof Structure, roof layer, surface and Black standing seam, uncheck purlins and that will fix the roof not showing up. Then you can draw the manual hip roof over the mechanical building.

    I wasn't sure which door you meant, if it's the one I circled then I'd make a patio/porch and remove the little gable.

    It is calculated from the outside of the wall main layer and can be set to the surface which is the wall exterior layer. .

    There are no saved plan views or layer sets in HD. You can make new plan views like 1st floor, 2nd floor under the tools tab, but they wills have the same layers. this is one of the challenges of working on a HD file in Chief and them not being able to access all the Chief features.

    I removed the countertop from the sink base, selected custom countertop for the cabinet and then broke it and adjusted to fit the sink.

    I've been there too, it looks so simple after you spend a lot of time trying to figure something out.

    Select line 2 fir framing, you actually have the OSB marked framing.

    @buzzsaw204You can draw a cad line and use the trim objects tool. But it removes the cut section but if you edit something on the deck it will rebuild the decking after you save the view.

    @BCNABECheck the Rail Specification, rail style, start & end post. I checked one of my X15 plans and they open in X16 as none on the start and end.

    @westvaleThe only time I've seen that is when I was using the Paint tool on something close to the window and hit the glass accidentally.

    If the room is a Kitchen or Bathroom and it has a cabinet in it, auto place outlets will place a GFCI above the cabinet. A Porch, Patio or Balcony the regular 110 outlet will be a GFCI on an interior wall. I don't see a way to change that.

    I have a 2 year old MSI Stealth with RTX 3070 and it seems like I had a similar issue when I got it. I can’t remember for sure, but I think Chief wasn’t using the RTX 3070 and there was a setting to change it. I’m not at my computer now but maybe someone else knows.

    If its a wall oven it has to be placed in a cabinet.

    In HDP you can't add layers to the floor structure, but you can make a separate slab and change the material to Insulation and set the elevation below the garage slab.

    Thanks Michael, I do learn a lot from the replies on here and as far as down vote it doesn't bother me because I've been married 45 years and most of my suggestions get down voted LOL. I hope everyone had a good Christmas and has a Happy New Year!!!!!
