  1. There may be a better way but here is what I came up with. Make a copy of the plan and delete everything on the first floor that is under the second floor. with the second floor open on the original plan set your reference display to the first floor of the copied plan.
  2. Like David said, set the Grade marker level in the Auto Story Pole default.
  3. I've had this before, if that area of the 2nd floor is open below the floor structure shows the osb in camera view on the roof but not inside. remove the osb from the open below floor structure and it goes away.
  4. Good morning, I sent you a PM. I’d like to talk about completing your floor plans.
  5. Hey Elliot, I just noticed your signature and it says your using a GeForce 1060 video Card. Could that be part of the problem? My old laptop has the same card, and it does weird things with X15. Just guessing.
  6. From looking at your plan, it looks like you just need to raise your carriers & post manually since it looks like you drew them manually. you defined the porch with invisible walls..
  7. Sorry, I thought they wanted a casement that looked like the picture they posted.
  8. I think this would be a custom Muntin. Search help for Muntin and it explains how to make them.
  9. The invisible walls around the Dining Room are causing the ceilings to drop when the Dining Room tray is built. I used a solid and a solid hole to make the tray in the Dining Room. I'm not sure if there is another or better way to do it .
  10. I'm not sure about your components, but here is how I saved it to the library. Place a Wall Niche in plan, select convert to symbol, symbol name Wall Niche, symbol category Fixture Interior, check add to library and show advanced options. Open symbol specifications, in the 3D tab check include size: width & height, in Rotation Z-, in the Options tab, select Insert in Wall 3". Open the wall Niche in the Library Browser, in the Layers Tab select Wall Niches, in the Schedule Tab select include in schedule as, uncheck fixtures and check wall niche in the windows tab.
  11. The Foundation wall is coming up through, Break Foundation wall at 1'6" and make 1'6" section Invisible.
  12. Edit wall layer intersections will fix the stucco.
  13. Explode Bay Window and copy the small window and reflect about the center of the Bay, you deck railing is causing the small window to disappear. The Bay Window is also cutting your deck plank boards, you will need to make sure you mark the decking planks to framing in the deck structure tab as well, as was mentioned in the comment above to get them to show in plan view. Once they are showing you can select them and extend them to the end, see plan note about the planks. You will need to have all framing on the deck finished before you extend the planks because that will turn off the auto rebuild deck framing. I hope this makes since.
  14. Good morning, I sent you a PM, if you haven't found anyone to help you out, give me a call or email. Thank You.
  15. Hey Jason, I marked your porch as no Ceiling, and it fixed your problem. Then you will have to draw in a ceiling plane for the porch. I'm not sure why it's doing that!!!!!!
  16. This was X14 This is x15 with set to 0, it's lowering the raise off plate X15 if you raise the Heel Height to 4 3/16"
  17. Hi Adam, I would like to talk to you about helping with you project. I'll be away all weekend but will be back Monday, if you would like to talk just give me a call or email me. I'm in West Virginia but work remotely with people all over the country. Thank You and have a good day.
  18. You can set the default exterior walls, default foundation stem wall and terrain and it will build automatically.
  19. One more thing, the invisible wall on the left porch I had to make it upper pitch to match the other front porch walls. One more thing, the side porch wall I marked high shed gable. I think that’s all.
  20. There were other things that I did, the roof default was set to 12/12 which I changed to 6/12. I checked walls to make sure they were mark the correct pitch. The two walls with the 8/12 pitch, one was marked 6/12 and the other was marked 12/12 so I changed them. The reason I lowered the porches was because with them the same as the house it want to match the 8/12 roofs to the porch pitch, I’ve never had to do that before? You might compare my version to yours and play around with the wall to see what I changed.
  21. Also your signature says x12 but it would only open in x15.
