  1. BTW that weird roof in picture 2 was the wall had auto roof return on. It drove me crazy for a few minutes.
  2. No I’ve never used Twinmotion I’m just learning the rendering in Chief.
  3. I was able to remove your furniture and cars and get the file down small enough to attach it here. Hope you can use it. Kruk.plan
  4. I have your plan fixed in x12 if you would like to message me and we can figure out how to get the entire plan to you.
  5. You could try deleting that taking and re draw it.
  6. Try drawing invisible railings around the bay. When I drew the deck first then added auto Bay window the railing came through the wall like your example.
  7. Interested in talking to you about your project. My contact information is in signature. Thanks
  8. Your welcome, it took a little trial and error and when I deleted the 2nd floor wall those brick columns went all the way to the roof in the area with the overhang missing.
  9. I forgot to mention I marked the inside walls of the brick columns no room definition. I think they were causing most of the problem.
  10. I defined the lower level as a porch which fixed most of the overhang that was missing and the side overhangs, I fixed by adjusting the attic walls on the sides. I attached a zip file of the plan. Exeter - CA.zip
  11. There’s a training video on Chief Architect that explains this. Training Videos / Framing an Overbuild Using a Truss Base
  12. The Tudor Arch works great, thanks for the info.
  13. With a little work you can do it in the window specification, shape. The only thing is the casing in the peak flattens off a couple inches and it will only let the side offsets go to 29 1/2" instead of 30 on the 60" window. Untitled 1.planUntitled 1.plan
  14. I made a copy in place of the poly solid/valance, resized it in plan view a half inch smaller than original and used the solid subtraction tool to remove the inside. Chief has a video under CAD Tools, subtracting poly lines that overlap. You could probably just use a cabinet valance from the library instead of the solid.
  15. I created a valence with a Poly solid and a molding polyline to match the room crown molding. This would take learning poly solids and molding polylines.
  16. Not sure about the glitches, but here is my version of what you are looking for drawn in X13. WINDOW PASS-THROUGH 56" WIDE FLOOR TO BOTTOM -1/4" NO SILL, THIS LEAVES A HOLE IN FLOORING THAT I COVERED WITH FLOOR MATERIAL REGION TO MATCH LAUNDRY FLOORING FRAME BOTTOM WIDTH 0" SHAPE TO MATCH STAIRS, LEFT HEIGHT 102 1/2" RIGHT HEIGHT 67 1/2"
  17. Is This the look you're trying to achieve? I drew roof planes and made attic wall invisible along with some other editing. Give me a call tomorrow if you'd like me to help you figure it out more. 2022-10-21 - Mary Ruth Smith.zip
