  1. Does anyone have symbols / textures or know of a good source for good seamless textures that doesn't need to be cropped and tweaked just to get a decent look in Raytrace. Thanks
  2. Ive done it both ways for a work around but just wondered if there was another way. Thanks
  3. I built a kitchen island with standard 24" deep cabinets on the front and I have butted 18" cabinets to the back of them to give me a 42" deep island without the eating area overhang. On the ends in both vector or elevation view you see the separation line between the back of the cabinets. I have both cabinet with a flat back with the toe kick and the countertop overhang. Again, it minor but I don't want my install crew to think there are two end panels butting together there to create a seam.
  4. Has anyone seen or have a symbol for a countertop pop up outlet like ive attached? I checked 3D WH but didnt see anything Thanks

  13. I saw the ones on 3d WH but they were were more the European style. Ive never tried to apply the pic to a PSolid then convert to symbol. will try to figure out how to do that. thanks
  14. I normally would not design the seperate boxes but in this case these are switches were not touching and I like to get my rendering as close as possible to what they have. Any idea about the bounding box offset?
  15. Yes. Thanks Dennis. That magazine rack was the selling point of the project
  16. Hopefully I can explain this clearly. This has been an issue for several versions as far back as I can remember. When placing switches on a wall and viewing them in camera view the switch and bounding box never line up with each other which makes it tricky to position them where i need them. I could see this with an imported symbol but these are core symbols. Also like in the attached photo, there are two separate 2 gang switch boxes and when I attempt to move them into the correct location and get 6-8" from each other they will snap together and create a single 4 gang box. The same thing happens with outlets and like the switches they will actually overlap and sit on top of each other. Is this a snap issue where they merge together? I wouldn't think a snap issue would not make the symbol and it's bounding box offset from each other. These are currently in X7 Thanks as always Rob
  17. We have started using the Legrand line of switches/ outlets, etc. I've looked on 3D WH and found a few symbols for they are mostly for European countries. Has anyone ran acroos or made any of these symbols. Ive attached a few pics from their lineup. Also the website is http://www.legrand.us/adorne.aspx Thanks Rob
