Doesn't seem like any simple way

I'm asking this mainly because I have tried Canvas for a few as built plans but it would be the same no matter who drew my initial as built plan. How can I take a plan that someone else completed and then import / convert it so I'm using my own template, layers, default settings?

I just got my first Canvas scan back. Can anyone tell me how to copy the plan they sent into my template plan. It's a 2 story plan. What they did was very close to my manual dimensions

I currently have an Alienware desktop with a GeForce RTX 3090. I need to get another PC for new designer. She would get mine and I would get a new one. Looking for thoughts on the RTX 3090 which I have now or move up to the RTX 4090? Is there a huge differences? As with anything. the day I buy it, the next day they will announce a new card coming out next month. Ive always bought Dells since I have a $100K credit line with them and Ive always bought the Alienware models because I know they are great with graphics and renderings. As far as the CPU, it is the same Intel 13th gen I-9. 13900KF 24 core which is the same as in my current PC thats 2 years old. Thanks

Sorry if this has been answered before. I searched the threads but didn't find one for missing library folders. I opened an existing plan and all library folders (Core, Mfg., Users) were listed. While working, I noticed the folders disappeared and I cant figure out what happened. I have all boxes checked when I right click in a panel. Even when I select a tag I get nothing.

Rene do you have a PDF copy of a project layout that used the templates that we could look at and see what we can expect. Thanks

Add a custom field in the Object information

Is it possible to create a custom toolbar and have it have a parent and child list? Example, create a custom cabinet toolbar with a single icon and once selected all cabinets in that toolbar would be visible in the tool pallet or drop down list. Exactly like Chiefs default

I use an Epson ET-16600 Eco Tank. Ive used HP and Brother but they just used a ton of ink. I fill this up about twice a year

It was where it was supposed to be. I installed it for the 3rd time and seemed to work except none of my library tags were brought over from my desktop to my laptop when I imported my desktop user library to the laptop.

Has anyone had the issue of installing X-15, the installer dbx says all files and libraries were loaded satisfactory. However, the program did launch, but the user library did not load but the weird thing is there is not X-15 data folder. Yes I made sure in preferences it had the correct folder path. I've uninstalled rebooted and installed again twice with the same result. I just let the installer do its default thing and didn't change any install directories paths. Hopefully the third time is the charm

Does anyone have a symbol with a single shaker door or drawer head that has a center vertical stile so it creates two panels. My cabinet company wont build a 5 piece door / drawer greater than 22" wide and I use several RAS pullouts that require a 22"-24" wide opening making the door too wide and some pullouts just don't work pulling out between 2 open doors or pullouts meant to have the door mounted to the face of the pullout. I just took a shaker door and added a 3D solid to the front but wont work when opening the drawer. Thanks

I'm doing a custom pantry and want to add pantry items such as canned food, bags or chips, cereal boxes. I have found some grouped items on 3D WH but Im not great at SU when there are multiple items. It seems when I explode the group it messes up the package labels. The grouped models from 3D WH are larger than I can upload. Below are links. Can someone help we with these please. Also if you have any pantry items to share would be much appreciated. Thank you very much. I looks like in the cabinet schedule it is including the 1.5" countertop thickness on top of the 34.5" actual cabinet height. Is there a way to have it ignore the countertop without deleting the top so it shows the 34.5" cabinet box height versus 36"?

How do you go about deleting all these custom fields I created in the Obj Info?

Sorry for not knowing schedules very well. Once these custom fields are made or columns renamed. Where are these custom field text boxes located to enter the information? I've added these fields but there are no new fields / text boxes or whatever you wish to call them in the cabinet dbx Object information. I think I may be lost. Again sorry for the trouble.

I havent added any of those custom fields. That just a text box I added on top of a screenshot. Not sure how to customize that to get all data entry boxes

I used to carry a cabinet line that only accepted 2020 orders so I had to get a single license to do that but only used it for ordering and not for any design work. I did all my design work in Chief then had to go over and use 2020 for the order. It was a long duplicated process. We no longer carry that line.

Can someone help me creating a custom cabinet schedule like the sample Excel spreadsheet attached that can become a default template to use on all projects. Im still in X-14 as I have not had time to switch over to X-15 yet and learn all the changes. I would like it to auto populate some items such as cabinet type, dimensions WDH, room or whatever else that can be done easily. If I can open the cabinets dbx Object Information page, if I had areas to enter text for each column, I can manually enter the Cabinet #, Wall, CWP Code, Qty, and Modifications / Accessories, Other Notes so it ends up looking like the Excel sample schedule attached. I don't want to have to go to multiple screens to get everything entered. I don't mind paying someone that can help me asap (This AM) as I have to get several cabinet orders in by tomorrow. I don't know if this is a simple or drawn out process. I'm trying to not have to enter the cabinet spec text under each cabinet in elevation view. (See attached) Ill be out of the office from 8:20 am - 10am CST then back for the rest of the day. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!

If I’m drawing the as built at the house I use my 15” Dell laptop but usually we use iPad 12” pro with the Good Notes app
