  1. you don't insert the refrigerator into the cabinet. You place it and then move it in. I used a 39" cabinet with 1 1/2" sides, made an opening with 0 shelves.
  2. ou need a rendered view, not section or elevation, then are not renders.
  3. "The Fridge model I have to use is a cabinet depth, not a built in. So I can't implement what you suggested above." Why not?
  4. Interesting. Have you tired deleting the wall and redrawing? Also. wall material region could work. Would like to know what is causing it. Maybe post the plan or a stripped down version of it.
  5. F you put a roof on the room the light at the soffit/ceiling juncture goes away. Regarding UC lights, Use a cabinet puck light from the library, set cut off to 180 drop off to .5 and custom light level to 10% and uncheck auto intensity.
  6. Curt - to me that is too reflective. Real SS is not that reflective. How about this? It is a hairline SS texture set to SS material finish in Chief.
  7. ich - too funny! Boy you are quick.......
  8. My mother used to say "be careful what you ask for because you might just get it". I think this client needs to listen to my mother! ;o)
  9. Also may need to offset the texture to line up with the wall.
  10. Not sure of what the problem is.... Can you be more specific? Also - you can use a polyline solid for the floor at the bar instead of making it a separate room. Also need to raise wall under bar to meet counter but I assume you know that.
  11. innie - can you post a picture, or better yet the plan? Sounds like there is something else going on. IF your default ceiling height is 120 and your short wall is 96 then the door should be no problem. See attached.
  12. What Glen is saying look at the pattern for the material and adjust accordingly. Not sure if there is one that matches exactly but you can check that out when you are looking.....
  13. Graham - appreciate your sticking with this. I did not initially try some of those things as I did not think the light bleed was related to the things you pointed out. Wrong again.......... IAE, you got the immediate problem fixed. Good lesson for all of us. Thanks again!
  14. you may want to move the house closer to 0,0 origin. I think that is why you are getting Z fighting in the camera.
  15. "Chief will need to add a "Caulking Gun Tool'" Funny, but maybe a good idea! ;o)
  16. Makes more sense than anything else I've heard. Thanks for taking the time to "splain". ;o)
  17. Jintu - those settings did make a big difference. Thanks. Graham - Thanks also. I know you are just trying to help so don't take my comments personally! ;o)
  18. Graham - I understand. HOWEVER, Why is the sun going THROUGH the wall and reflecting/bouncing off the back of furniture? Can you splain that to me?? And why should I have to change the direction of the sun angle to fix the problem? Been with Chief since 97 and know that it is not a flip the switch procedure but I and others are still not happy with how light bleeds in certain situations. Things have come a long way but still need improving. IMHO
  19. Jintu - I will try that. But it shold not be happening. ALso, How did you get rid of the red tint? Same answer?
  20. Graham - we are talking different issues. You do not have any light bleed at ceiling or around cabinets as I do in my plan. General light intensity is another topic.
  21. Jintu - Really, same problem in Corona and Vray? I don't think Thea has this problem. Anyhow plan attached. This is my house. I started this model many years ago when I did not know Chief nearly as well. I have updated things some along the way but the entire plan is not "finished". There is some wonky stuff that needs to be fixed. Just ignore. I just do what I want when I want it. The house is on the market now and I want to show some options for the existing office area. This is a one bedroom option for the space. there area is on the 2nd floor. Gavin BU.zip
