  1. I have just discovered that in X6 my Status bar and bottom scroll bar do not show. No problems with X5. It's not plan specific, happens in any plan that I open. Status bar is checked in Preferences and Scroll bar and status bar are both checked under the View menu. Any ideas anyone?
  2. I have Norton 360 installed. This warning message pops up all the time when d'loading the installer. It's just that Norton does not recognize the file type. Hit ignore (or whatever) and continue on your merry way. No need to close Norton at all. And there's no harm done. A few years back when I had Zone Alarm installed, that was a different beast altogether. That had to be closed down
  3. Start at the Top and work down, adjusting floor and ceiling elevations for each room as needed Glenn Woodward stated this on the old forum many moons ago.
  4. Tim Do you have sills on the windows? It could be the sills showing, hence the reason there are no lines on the doors.
  5. I open then close, just so it won't stay highlighted as "unread" Lew There's no need to do that. Skip that post (you already know it's spam obviously by it's title) and when you've finished reading the other subjects in e.g. General Q & A, just click on the icon to the left and it will mark all as read whether you've read that particular post or not.
  6. Surprise, surprise everyone. You all now have an early Xmas present.
  7. It would be nice to be able to have more than one layout open at the same time +1
  8. I have reported recent obvious spam posts also. (and they are very obvious). I don't think it's that hard to determine if a first time poster is genuine or not. If it's not Chief related, It's probably spam.
  9. Cheryl There is one in X6 in my user library under Chiefsymbols for Open Ceiling. Have a look there.
  10. You two guys are great. The comradeship between you two is great. Especially on the golf course.
  11. Hi Peter I'm located in Heidelberg Heights so not far away. Send me a PM if you would like to discuss further.
  12. Geez, the sun studies don't need 'work arounds'. Put in the correct data, longatude, latitude, time etc. and you'll get the correct results. I've been using chief since V4 and the sun areas of the programme have improved considerably over the versions. Learn how to use the sun studies before criticizing.
  13. From what I gather the 'Aussies' really like these cars... Any takers... Sorry Bill. Think you'll have to hang on to it.
  14. Unfortunately no. Unless you have Interiors X5 and created the plan in that version.
  15. I found they save 4.3 hours/40 hours Scott That's a round of golf a week. Len
  16. Mark I posted how to overcome this problem a week or so back. Sorry I can't remember what thread it was in. I also use Chrome. Never had to sign in on the old CT either. I'ii see if I can find the thread.
  17. Glenn I agree. There is a wait for the box to open.
  18. Glenn Hover your mouse over the posters name. A box comes up with his details ans shows if he is online or offline.
  19. Does the person being rated (either positively or negatively) see who is rating them? Rich Good point.
  20. He should check his typing before posting. Otherwise, if it was a typo, edit his post straight away.
