I don't, I have been extremely fortunate to have access to the big name $$$ software's I would google how-to videos on creating tileable or seemless materials. there are a ton of resources on this on the www

I typically charge for this but needed to log a good deed for the day They aren't perfect-making them perfect would take a good couple hours- here you go: TILE SAMPLES BY RAB.calibz

These need to be made into tile-able or "seamless" texture files, which would usually be done in a photo editing software.

Maybe rewatch the vid I made- I think maybe you missed the step about changing the roof pitch to 10:12 on each side. My roof shows a very similar size "v"

Without getting too far into it, my ramdisk is being auto-synced with the cloud using google backup and syncs new feature that can sync any folder on your computer regardless of its location. I don't have the core libraries placed into the ramdisk. There is also another software that syncs any drive to another location on my computer for backup.

I don't have enough digits on my hands and feet to count the amount of times a CAD operator was incorrect. If you have your wall dimensions correct and your elevations correct and your roof slopes correct then the only thing left to ponder is if the CAD operator was incorrect. Also I'm assuming this is for the purpose of rendering only? If you haven't billed for a level of detail that would encompass 100% accuracy, then I would be clear that its worth cheating some numbers. Ask your client if close enough is close enough or would they like to spend $1000's more to get 100% accuracy.

I have your same laptop, and I have done a few upgrades that have made it a very fast machine. I wouldn't buy a new one yet personally, not worth the price tag. My desktop has much newer graphics card and the difference isn't worth mentioning. Install Chief Architect to your "SSD" which I believe is an M.2 NVME drive and not an ssd as there is only one ssd slot available in this machine. Create a ramdisk using AMD's free software: http://www.radeonramdisk.com/software_downloads.php Set your temp directory to the ram disk and maybe even your user library(make a backup) Use PBR for rendering, master the techniques the results are nearly instantaneous. I have a eGPU that I plug in when I need to use rendering software- at $600 it was worth the price tag as it was only $150 more than the gfx card it holds. This plugs into the USB-c on the Asus

I typically take a screen clipping of a PDF if I don't have access to a program to reduce the PDF's size(which i do). Also checking the box for "save in plan" seems to help with slow downs. Also sometimes its worth it to draw a cad box to where your PDF will be placed and leave importing PDF's to the last step of your CD's I have a 14 core xeon- CA is best suited to speed of CPU vs number of cores, my laptop often outperforms my desktop- see sig

I stuck with one pitch to illustrate the point, but as you mentioned, would've been easy to adjust the pitch through the wall dbx..and cheers!

I keep preaching this..start with auto-build roof and adjust from there...more often than not you can complete your roof just with the auto-build and wall designations. Here's a plan, maybe it's not exactly what you are looking for, but there is more right than wrong here. adjustments from here should be easy-peasy: this took 45 seconds to accomplish: Ashley close.plan

Did one a few years back, used wineracks.com. I designed it in CA and it ended up being somewhat redundant as my client trusted my work and didn't need me to work through the design concepts with them ....the wineracks rep ended up reproducing everything I did in their software for review. Turned out great, 2600 bottles in a 10' x 12' space... happy client, great experience with the wineracks rep.

Just curious as to why emphasis is placed on the project being a subdivision? CA, in my opinion, isn't capable of photorealism Thea/Blender/sometimes Lumion would be capable of photorealism
