dshall
Is it possible for a file to be modified before it was created?
Solution TheKitchenAbode Posted January 27, 2016 Solution Share Posted January 27, 2016 Unfortunately I don't think time travel has not been discovered here. I believe that the "Created Date" is the date that the file was placed in it's current directory, which may or may not be related to it's original date of creation. rlackore
Graham is correct. Creation Date is independent of the file's data, whereas the Modified Date indicates a change to the file's data.

bernie
if you open your .plan file with a text editor and scroll down ignoring all the gobbledegook you will see a lot of info about the file creation date, type, timestamp, version number first created in, etc etc.located on 1 line.
