vawngreany
How do you get cabinet moldings to not only appear on the front of a cabinet but then turn the corner and die back into a wall? Basically, how do you get moldings on the side of a cabinet?
dshall
My question would be how do you not get the molding to wrap around the side.

rgfeher
Question is - how did you get the molding in the first place - through the cabinet dbx?
vawngreany
Yes I added it in the cabinet dbx
RobUSMC
I too have that happen every now and then. The only way I get it to correct itself is to save, exit and reopen the plan then all is good.
scottharris
If the cabinet dialog does not solve your request, can you use a molding polyline?
MarkMc
I took to using build-molding line some time ago. I end up with a fair number of kitchens that have two variations of molding, also allows me to copy an existing set of moldings from plan to plan. I have better control that way. Just have to watch your heights when moving from an old plan.
rgfeher
Is the molding a crown? If there is the slightless deviation in cabinet top heights or the cabinets are no completely nested, the molding will behave as you describe
